When we started looking for a photographer it was important to us to find someone who was flexible, personable and affordable! As a former photography major myself, I personally wanted to support a newer artist who was trying to expand their business. Nancy's information was given to me by a former colleague and we felt she was what we were looking for after the first interview. Our first session with her was for our engagement portraits where we went to the National Art Museum in DC. Nancy was excellent at letting us choose everything we wanted to do for the session but we knew we could rely on her to offer some really great ideas too. On our wedding day Nancy was phenomenally creative. We had no real back up plan for rain and of course it rained all through the wedding. Nancy was able to take some great shots on the fly inside rather than outside and worked very well throughout the evening to make sure she captured pretty much everyone who attended. Our family portraits from the day were truly once in a lifetime! Nancy's skill is remarkable and she was a true professional, yet always friendly and encouraging. The only thing I wish we could have done differently from the day is take more pictures!!!
