We live on Tybee, and for us there was never any question about where we were going to have our wedding reception. I knew it was going to be great, but even I was surprised at how amazing our reception was. The food was absolutely delicious, and Kathryn went well above and beyond our expectations to make our reception wonderful. It has been more than two months since my wedding and people are still talking about the food. The cake was amazing too. We wanted something a little less traditional, and Kathryn and her mother really stepped up to the challenge. Thank you, NBG!

North Beach Bar and Grill catered our wedding reception last weekend, and the food was amazing! Kathryn Williams of North Beach Bar and Grill is a pleasure to work with, and she is very responsive.

Beyond our wedding, we often eat at North Beach Bar and Grill while visiting Tybee each year; the food and service never disappoint.

We used North Beach Bar and Grill to cater both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding reception. We were extremely impressed by the quality of both the food and service. The owner of the restaurant and the head chef met with us beforehand and took a lot of time to help us pick the perfect menu for both events. Both my wife and I got many responses from guests stating, "that was the best food I've ever had at a wedding" and there were many food connoisseurs in attendance. We both love seafood and it was among the best we've ever had. I am also a big steak-eater and the steak was cooked perfectly. Lastly, the prices were very reasonable and we both feel we got a huge bargain. I emphatically recommend the North Beach Bar and Grill for catering at your wedding or any other event you may have.

The beach on the north side of Tybee Island is absolutely perfect for a sunset wedding. The photos came our beautifully! It was so romantic!

They were AWESOME. Food was great, service was prepared and ready for all 27 of our guest as we arrived later. Tables were ready as well as staff. The chef is top notch. Our guest commented that the food was the best of an wedding they had attended.

I had no idea this place did cakes until I found them online. They were located about a block from my reception so it was perfect. I met with Kathryn a few months before the wedding to taste the cake and it was delicious. We went with a sour cream cake with lemon flavored frosting. My colors were mint green and she got the color of the frosting perfect, with gorgeous sea shells cascading down the cake. Everyone loved it!

We held our reception at the North Beach Bar and Grill. We ordered our cake from here. It was beautiful! It had seashells on top. The cake was made of lemon pound cake (I don't like lemon). The cake was very heavy. We ordered appetizers for our guests. We had the jerk chicken on a sitck (great), ham and cheese roll ups (great), turkey, bacon and cheese paninis (great), andouille stuffed mushrooms (kinda spicy but good), spanikopitas (kinda of tasted like spinach and artichoke dip in phyllo dough--great), chicken wing lollipops (they were basically chicken wings w/o sauce and no flavor--not so great), and we had mini-reubens (there was a hair in mine so I did not eat it). Mrs Katherine was very nice and easy to work with. They told us to be there at 8:30 pm and not to be late but we didn't get seated until around 9:00 pm. It was a hopping joint with a live band. Our waitress seemed to be a little bit out of it, maybe tired or really busy but she took care of us. We only had to ask for a drink twice but she took care of everything else.
