We recently hired this company as a DJ for my sons wedding & we opted for the photo booth as well. Adam did an outstanding job from the beginning of the process to the end, making sure we had our playlist and songs chosen in plenty of time. He answered all emails and phone calls right away. He showed up early to set up so everything was set up the right way & he had everything under control the entire time. We provided him a timeline and things we were doing and not doing- and he stuck to it perfectly. Communication was great. He even stepped in and helped with some things like guiding the servers who were moving the cake. Extremely courteous and professional all around. A super nice guy as well!
The guests all enjoyed him, it was a very smooth process! His photo booth set up was awesome and he had tons of props that our guests enjoyed making memories with!

Adams experience really shows. He was extremely professional and reliable trough out the booking process, always responded promptly and was even willing to roll with a pretty major last minute change. He got everyone up and dancing AND KEPT THEM THERE! The sound was as good as advertised, and so was his English accent! Would definitely recommend.

We had to find a DJ for our event last minute and NJ Party Place was able to make it all happen in the most incredible way! Adam (the owner) was our DJ and I cannot express how thankful I am for such great work he put in! He is very accommodating and the whole experience felt like he was the right person to do this job! Don't let the name fool you, it's not just for New Jersey. They came out to my New York event. Very punctual. Excellent set up . Great attitude. The kids had A-blast We booked them for our next event.

I love in southern NJ where the party business took a severe hit during covid. There were no business opened for my 60th birthday pool party. I had the fortune of finding NJPP. I was searching for a karaoke set up and a Photo Booth which to my delight NJPP has both for a reasonable price. It was no I issue that we’re located in opposite ends of the state. Adam Lawson made the trek to South Jersey and made my party come to life!! Adam arrived early, set up both activities quickly and my guests enjoyed a fun filled afternoon. Thank you NJPP!!

I will NEVER hire this DJ ever again. When I was at my venue setting up the day before my wedding he called asking a simple question which I had no problem with. When final payment was brought up I mentioned giving him a check since service at my venue was not great and I was having a hard time doing electric payments. He told me that he really prefers the electronic payment. I said I would do my best to get it to him. While I was on the phone with him he became very abrasive and rude. Demanded to know my maid of honors name so she would be the contact for him the day of and didn’t even give me a choice about that. When the payment wouldn’t go through because of bad service he was calling and texting me harassing me for payment. When it went through I did it as a business payment and he wanted it as friends and family. He then continued to call and text me saying that he needed the payment resent the correct way because he didn’t want to deal with the business aspect of the electronic payment. Did it and I didn’t hear from him the rest of the night. The day of my wedding he came over and interrupted my husband and I while we were getting pictures done before the ceremony and didn’t go to my maid of honor like he said he would. During cocktail hour and dinner he was playing dance music and it was very loud. My maid of honor, my father and another bridesmaid went over to him to tell him to turn the music and the bass down because no one could hear each other during dinner and it was causing some of our older guests to have anxiety issues. He refused all of them until my one bridesmaid had to bring out her teacher voice to get him to listen. I found out later that he was rude and nasty to everyone that went up to him. He was even nasty to the venue when she was just making sure he had everything he needed and if he needed any help. Once he did turn it down he was sitting behind the system and pouted. Once dinner was over and we started to dance it was all very different music than I asked for. Once we did get to the pop/punk music we had a good group on the floor dancing. We got about 3 songs in a row and he cut them off when they were almost done and didn’t even fade in or out of the songs, just ended them. After about the 3 songs of a large group on the dance floor singing and dancing to the music he changed it to a very obscure song and everyone (including myself) left the dance floor. The music never went back to anything that I had asked for so no one went back to the dance floor. He then found my husband and then told him that no one was on the floor. My husband just told him to pack up and he was fine to leave. We told him to leave our wedding early because the music killed the vibe and people left the dinner area to go other places in the venue. This man is very rude and extremely abrasive to work with. I would not recommend working with him at all and I would not hire him for any sort of party ever again. I do not want anyone to go through what my husband and I did. We did get what we paid for with him. He was very inexpensive and it showed. Only plus side is that he didn’t play the one song I said to not play ever.
