I am so excited to finally write this review! Nicole is hands down amazing! In a few words, she's organized, smart, creative, professional, talented, and a super fast shooter!

My husband and I spent months looking for the right photographer for our wedding. When a friend recommended Nicole, we looked at her site, called her, and never looked back. She is such a professional and truly captures the most important moments with her lens. We did our engagement photos in February and loved every single one. When it came time for our wedding day, my husband and I were both a little nervous about having enough time to capture everything we wanted. We both have large families and a large bridal party. Nicole wasn't worried at all. She had us provide a super specific shot list and between Nicole, her second shooter, and her assistant they had us covered and then some! We just got our photos back and we cannot stop gushing about them. She captured so many details and moments I didn't even know she shot. I can't wait to make our album selections. I would recommend her 100 times over!

Nicole is such an amazing photographer!! We hired her for our engagement photos in Disneyland and not only did we have a blast shooting, the pictures came out better than we ever could have imagined! She has such a great eye for a good backdrop and lighting, and guided us through the shots for how to pose and made us feel completely comfortable the whole time! She was great at communicating before the shoot, giving me advice on what to wear and she also referred me to her friend who styled my hair before and I absolutely loved her too! Everything turned out perfectly so now we definitely want her to come photograph our wedding!

Fun. Energetic. Talented. Easygoing. Sweet. Genuine. These are just some of the words my husband and I would use to describe Nicole. It is very easy to feel comfortable around her, which is essential to having good wedding photos. Nicole is willing to run, jump, crawl, and otherwise contort her body to get the perfect shot... no wonder she's called a stealth ninja when it comes to photographing her clients! She has a true passion for what she does and went out of her way to accommodate all of our requests. I couldn't give her a higher recommendation! We cherish our wedding photos and we can't wait for her to photograph our future life events as well. She's not only a fabulous photographer but a great person as well! You will be thrilled with your pictures if you hire Nicole to capture your wedding!

It is hard for me to start to begin to review the wonderful experience me, my wife and my family had with Nicole. We came across Nicole through a friend and it was such a blessing. From the beginning she was the most warm and welcoming person. She made the whole experience such a pleasure. She genuinely cared about us and our wedding, and it showed in every facet of her work. She is very talented (I am pretty proficient with photography), she made everyone at ease in what can sometimes be a stressful situation, she turned the photos around very quickly, she was easy to communicate with (we live in TX and got married in CA), and she seamlessly took the photos that were the most important while seeming like she wasn't there. By the end of our ceremony and her time with us she was, so well liked we asked her to stay around as a guest. If there is anything that is important that you need photographed, you will be fortunate to be able to use Nicole to capture those moments.

Nicole did our engagement shoot at Disneyland and will be our wedding photographer in June. I loved the idea of an engagement shoot at Disney but was so nervous about having to look and be romantic in such a public place. I can be really camera shy, but Nicole made us both feel so comfortable. After the first few shots it felt more like we were at the park with friends than doing an engagement shoot. She got the photos and editing done very quickly, and I was amazed to see how stunning every shot was. She definitely captured us as a couple, and what's more amazing, was that it didn't really look like there were many other people at Disneyland besides us (on a Saturday nonetheless)!

Update: Nicole just shot our wedding. Everyone was amazed at how she didn't miss a moment. She will do anything to get the perfect shot and went over and beyond trying to get everything that I wanted though lighting and weather made it a challenge. Having Nicole at our wedding put me at ease. Nicole is extremely friendly, patient, and professional, all the things we needed from our photographer on a chaotic wedding day. We absolutely cannot wait to see the photos. She is simply the best.

We had our wedding a week ago and Nicole Goddard was a gem among our vendors. From doing my own research about her photography I knew she would be amazing, but I didn’t know how amazing she would be until I met her. Nicole travels all over for her photography, we were lucky that she would be returning from Costa Rica in time for our wedding day. We spoke through phone and email numerous times before the wedding and each and every time she was enthusiastic, happy, very warm, professional, reassuring, and extraordinarily knowledgeable. We arranged to meet at the wedding venue several days before the wedding and she looked around the site at the angles, lighting, and positioning of the site; I felt very reassured to see the detail that she was putting into our special day and the time she spent to familiarize herself with the venue. The day before the wedding we were stressed about the wedding party, but one thing we were not stressed about was the photographer we had chosen – I already knew she would be just wonderful. On the wedding day was when she really worked her magic, and everyone at our wedding party saw it first hand. Firstly, Nicole showed up early with her A-list team. My immediate family, who lives out of town and had not met her previously, were already very comfortable with her after only an hour. She was so calm and collected in the hectic environment in the hours preceding the wedding - she has a zen about way to her. She had already taken some important shots before I or our guests had even arrived. I loved how she methodically went through a checklist of portraits we really wanted – the bride and groom each with different groups of people; we knew before hand we wouldn’t be rushing at the end to get any shots we really wanted, she made sure none of the important shots were missed. What was especially impressive was that even though many of our guests were non-English speakers, Nicole was somehow able to really connect and communicate with each and every one of them. She was able to interact really well with our elderly guests, our guests under the age of 10, our American guests, our guests with a language barrier, etc. For our portraits, she took each one with perfection, in the right amount of sunlight, positioning people, quickly adjusting necklaces, their ties, their corsages, their hair, head positioning, etc – I knew before even seeing the pictures that they would turn out perfectly. I was so touched that she was able to connect with our grandparents and make them excited for the pictures. Some of the guests at our wedding typically hire the same people each time for photography at their events, but Nicole was so impressive that even they kept telling me how much they liked the photographer I had chosen, and many people asked me for her contact information after the wedding. Nicole herself had ran out of business cards on our wedding day. During the ceremony and reception Nicole was somehow able to stealthy get into the perfect positioning to capture the important shots. She would somehow appear, seemingly out of nowhere, whenever an important moment approached. She does a lot of yoga, so we think that helped her in the acrobatic work  By the end of the day, we felt Nicole was a central part of our wedding party, and helped make it a truly special day for us – and we can’t wait to see the end result! We plan to have her for all our future events and special moments.

Nicole Goddard is amazing! She is professional, personable, creative and very organized (which is key for a wedding). Nicole met with my fiance and 6 month before our wedding and we knew right away, she was the perfect person to capture our wedding day! Then, Nicole took another meeting with my mom and I. We all feel in love with her! During the planning process Nicole was prompt to respond to all my emails and phone calls. She knew how to handle a large wedding party (15) with large families and kids/toddlers (5)! We had a big wedding party. Nicole worked with 2 assistance, kept right on schedule, and never broke a sweat. My family and I were very pleased with how the pictures turned out. We are now expecting our wedding album and we got married on 3/24 - she's awesome! Post wedding, Nicole is very quick with provided final pictures, she is still available for retouching/questions. Nicole is truly talented and a pleasure to work with. We'd recommend Nicole for your special day.

Nicole photographed my wedding on 2011.08.19 and I am soooo happy with the product of her work. The photos are stunning and she didn't miss a moment. We asked her to photograph for 10 hours, from the morning when I was getting ready with my mom and sister, all the way to the end of the night after the band left. Nicole followed us to four different locations (hotel, chapel, beach, reception hall) and she photographed the best angles, best backdrops, best lighting, best EVERYTHING. I knew she was good because I had looked through her portfolio before asking her to do my wedding, but when I finally got the photos back it was so thrilling to see that my wedding photos were as magical and as perfect as I imagined they would be.

Something else I really appreciated was that Nicole works like a stealth. By the time we got to the reception hall I lost track of here whereabouts. I knew she was around capturing the most important moments like the speeches, first dance, cake cutting, etc. but it wasn't till I saw the photos that I realized she had been working like a machine the entire time. She took some really amazing photos of all the guests, of the band, of all the little details that my husband and I poured our hearts into to make our reception a little extra special.

Nicole is very professional, very kind and wonderful to work with, very consistent in her work, very organized, and very very talented. She was also very quick to edit all our photos and give them to us. We got over thirteen hundred in less than a three-month turn-around.

I highly recommend Nicole. After the wedding day is over and done, all that remains are the memories. Nicole captured and preserved all the best memories of my wedding day and I will be forever grateful!

When we first met Nicole, we were in the early stages of planning our destination wedding and were just being exposed to the myriad of choices when looking into hiring a photographer. We can say from experience, the process can definitely be an arduous one. Luckily for us, Nicole came highly recommended from close family and friends that knew her and the outstanding work she produces. Nicole, though frequently traveling up and down the west coast, made it a point to come meet us between trips so that we could get to know her and see more of her work in person. As Nicole said so perfectly, after a couple hours the three of us felt like we were longtime friends catching up over tea and cappuccinos! She had a great personality and charm about her and we knew that we had found someone that we would be completely comfortable and thrilled to shoot photos with.

The first work we did with Nicole was when she shot our engagement photos during the summer. Prior to meeting up with her in LA, we were brainstorming on a location where we could take some early evening photos. Nicole brilliantly suggested that we shoot at the Venice Canals, a little known treasure right in Venice Beach. The location was certainly impressive! Not only was it fitting that we were being photographed in a beautiful Venice-like location prior to our wedding in Florence, Italy, it was symbolically special for us since one of our first dates was on a gondola ride. Nicole scored double points on that!

In all seriousness though, the photos that Nicole produced from the engagement session were marvelous! She truly has an artistic ability to capture special moments, and the colors and perspective that are present in the photos were outstanding! That's when we absolutely knew the wedding would be spectacular and the excitement definitely kicked in! Not only that, but throughout the entire session of shooting with Nicole, she made us feel relaxed and at ease while having the time of our lives!

Then came the big day, our wedding in Florence, Italy! We began shooting around 11am and Nicole didn't put the camera down well after the sun went down - she gave an unimaginable amount of effort (alongside our spectacular cinematographer Ari Perilstein from Custom Made Productions)! Saying that Nicole worked hard and hustled would be selling her short; she worked with purpose, professionalism, but most importantly, passion. That's the Nicole Goddard that we will always think of when we see our wedding photos. It wouldn't seem as though there were enough minutes in the day to capture all the angles and variations of lighting in each location; but what came out in Nicole's final work was perfection! The photos Nicole produced for us have beyond exceeded what we could have ever imagined...

And while we think our photos speak for themselves, we'd like to offer our deepest gratitude to the multi talented artist behind the camera lens. Nicole, thank you so much for all the time, energy and precision you put into our wedding - you truly captured the spirit and joy of the most special day of our lives. Nicole Goddard is TRULY a photographer in mind, spirit, soul and body (she literally has a "hangover" the day after your wedding from working so hard!). I knew Nicole from childhood, but she photographed my sister's wedding as well with another dear family friend's wedding, so I knew going into it that she would be exceptional! Nicole was the most helpful vendor I worked with during the long journey of wedding planning. Before she even took one picture of us as a couple, she was attentive, always in communication with us, and made us feel really comfortable and gave us confidence we made the right decision in a photographer. Nicole is so down to earth that communicating your needs and wishes and wants to her feels like you are speaking to a very professional best friend, a great combination! We had Nicole shoot our Rehearsal Dinner and our Wedding, and it was really awesome to spend more time with her and get a "trial" in photos before the big day! By the time she met us at our venue, I was SO EXCITED to see her which made taking pictures before the ceremony FUN and RELAXING! It really allowed my husband and I feel free, romantic and completely natural during our shoot. The pictures turned out better than words, and I owe my lifetime of memories to Nicole. I will always be able to cherish she was present on our Wedding day, we are so lucky!
