Nicola is an amazing photographer and artist who knows how to capture special moments with an awesome attention to details! She knows the right angles and lighting to give you the ultimate ‘glow’. My fiancé and I were instantly drawn to her photos when we reached out to book her for our wedding! We wanted to get to know her and also use her for an engagement shoot and she was so fun to work with! As a same-sex couple, we felt very comfortable and safe with her. We both went into our engagement shoot nervous as we thought we would be awkward in the photos but when she returned the album to us we were completely blown away by what she captured! Jump forward to our Nov, 2022 wedding and the photos she captured, were so incredibly beautiful! Nicola and her second photographer Madison, captured the most epic shots highlighting our beautiful venue and the magic of our big day. We've had so many compliments from complete strangers on the photos and we couldn't have had better results. She knew us going into the wedding and having that familiarity with us was extra helpful in how she guided and coached us throughout the day. We felt taken care of! We highly recommend Nicola for your special day(s) and can't wait to use her again in the future!

When we got engaged, choosing Nicola was a no brainer. I loved her photography style and had seen her shoot several weddings in my network. I thought she was very thorough and transparent on our first call. We ended up going with her associate photographer for our date. Nicola was still our POC and all communications went through her. She's very organized and I always trusted that she was on top of our wedding. We loved working with the associate photographer but knew Nicola would be editing our photos. Nicola got us sneak peeks just a couple of days after our wedding and I was shocked by how many photos she sent us! We were SO HAPPY with our final gallery. She did an amazing job - I love her editing style that is a mix of light/bright and dark/moody. We would recommend Nicola to anyone!

Working with Nicola was amazing!! We booked her for both our engagement session and our wedding, and we're so thankful we did. Nicola is an incredibly talented photographer. She has a knack for capturing beautiful and candid moments while still making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. She was also incredibly efficient. Nicola was able to take all the requested photos and still get us to cocktail hour on time (something that both I and my husband very much appreciated). We are incredibly thankful to have worked with Nicola and would highly, highly recommend her to anyone in need of a photographer.

Nicola is absolutely a dream come true. We knew immediately upon looking at her work that she was the one we had to have for our engagement and wedding photography, but even after seeing her talent we were blown away by the quality of our engagement and wedding albums. Every single photo (and I'm not exaggerating) is breathtakingly beautiful. She has such an eye for lighting and composition, everything is just perfect.

Leading up to our wedding, Nicola was very easy to get a hold of with questions I had, and made sure to help me get organized before the big day so that she had a list of every photo I wanted. She asked for a list of all my family members for photos (which was not short) and on the day of the wedding, she did a phenomenal job of herding everyone for pictures to make sure we got everything we wanted.

On our wedding day, Nicola and her second shooter were a well-oiled machine. They worked so hard and so seamlessly, it was the perfect combination of not disrupting the day with cameras in our faces but still being present at every important moment and capturing every emotion of the day. I had a few additional requests for Nicola on the day of, and she immediately took those into account and captured the photos I asked for. She even herded the groomsmen (not an easy task).

After our wedding day was Father's Day, and while our album hadn't been delivered yet, I reached out to Nicola to see if she could get me one photo with my grandpa to give him as a gift. She was so kind and got the photo edited for me right away so that I could get it printed for him.

Nicola delivered more than 50 photos to us within days of our wedding, and delivered our whole gallery (over 1000 images) within 6 weeks! We were so so thrilled with every single shot and even more thrilled that we got them so quickly.

Nicola did such an amazing job on our wedding day that when we recently found out we were pregnant, one of the first people I reached out to was Nicola to ask her if she would shoot our pregnancy announcements. I don't think I can ever use another photographer again!

This review is long over due (married Sept 2019), but Nicola deserves to be recognized no matter how long ago I got married :)
She was the very first photographer I looked into. I came across her Instagram back in 2018 and knew almost instantly that I wanted her as my photographer. But I shopped around anyway only because I knew I had to keep my options open.
Aside from Nicola's amazing work, it was SO easy to work with her. We really appreciated how laid back she was, while being so professional and organized at the same time - literally the best combination you want in a vendor when planning your wedding! My husband and I naturally aren't that comfortable in front of the camera, but Nicola made us feel right at home. She was never pushy and she truly made us feel as comfortable we could. She was also QUICK with sending sneak peaks from our engagement shoot and wedding! Her love for photography definitely shines through in her work. I was blown away with the style of our engagement AND wedding photos, and I'm so happy I went with my gut and chose Nicola. Thank YOU Nicola (and Shea, her sweet 2nd shooter!) for your talent and creativity! 20/10 would recommend :)

Nicola is amazing at what she does. She is so kind and so fun to work with. I am a floral designer in the Bay Area and I have had the pleasure of working with Nicola on many occasions. I am always excited to work with her as I know I will get stunning photos of my work in return. Every wedding I have worked with her on has resulted in the sweetest moments captured between the couple as well as so many amazing detail shots. Nicola takes beautiful photos. I was very happy with how our engagement and wedding photos turned out. She's professional, responds in a timely manner and delivers a great product. The family photos on our wedding day were a bit stressful, especially because I have a very large family. I wish that we had organized the list in a different way, or requested fewer family combos. But overall, I was very happy with the photos, and I'd recommend Nicola to anyone.

Of all the people we worked with for our wedding, we spent the most time and energy looking for our photographer (even more than our venue). I cannot begin to express how lucky we feel to have had the opportunity to work with Nicola. From the first moment I saw her portfolio, I knew that she was someone I would love to work with. Not only did she capture the most stunning portraits at our wedding, but she also documented all of the small moments with the people we love. She has an unbelievable ability to truly tell the whole story of the day.

I would also like to add that she is so much more than a wedding photographer who just shows up on the day. She seems to truly care about the couples she works with. During the wedding planning process, Nicola was available to answer all manner of questions that I had. On the day of the wedding, she was such a calm presence who completely put us at ease. The day after our wedding, we already had a sneak peak album with many truly stunning photos, which we couldn’t wait to share with everyone. I could say so much more, but her work speaks for itself. I am already looking forward to taking anniversary photos with her one day.

Nicola is AMAZING, her photos are AMAZING, and she has a way of making you look and feel AMAZING. She was so easy to work with, super prompt with answering questions, and her turnaround time on getting all of our wedding photos back to us was ridiculous - like 12 hours after our wedding we already had 25+ sneak peak pictures and less than a month after we had all of our photos back (almost 900 pictures!!!!). Nicola was the best decision we made for our wedding and you will not regret working with her.

I can not possibly say thank you enough to Nicola for the amazing job she did on my wedding photos! We had a traditional Jewish ceremony with a million tiny details we wanted to capture and she took the time to ask me questions and learn everything about our big day! Of course I had seen her beautiful work for outdoor weddings, but our wedding was going to be all indoors on a gloomy May SF evening... AND SHE NAILED IT! Nicola put me totally at ease throughout the process. She was so prepared and on top of it. I don’t feel like Ben or I are particularly photogenic, but Nicola kept us laughing and moving through poses for some GORGEOUS shots. I truly loved her work and you would be so lucky to score her for your big day!!
