Absolutely had the best wedding ever thanks to New England Creative. They were so easy to work with and brought great and calming energy. I appreciated day of vibes as well as the dedication to completing our video and communicating about the whole process each step of the way. I felt completely take care of and because of them was so happy I booked a videographer. I could not recommend them enough!

We can not recommend NEC enough! Though we knew we wanted a photographer (as is traditional), we were undecided about a videographer until meeting Matt – at which point we knew we had to incorporate videography in our wedding day. We found NEC through the recommendation of our wedding planner, and after watching some sample footage from NEC’s Instagram and website, we were blown away. It wasn’t just the NEC portfolio that impressed us, though. Matt’s rigorous attention to detail and commitment to balancing our creative/artistic vision with his own sets him apart.

We met Matt early in the wedding planning process via a Zoom call. He took time to understand our personalities as individuals, first, and then our identity as a couple preparing to get married. He asked us questions about our artistic style – but also our favorite music, our favorite foods, and what we did for fun. (Mind you, we hadn’t actually booked Matt yet.) We appreciated his level of attentiveness, though, because it made us confident that whatever footage/final product he produced from our wedding day would center our experience and creative/romantic vision of the day). Fast-forward 18 months when Matt was beginning the editing process, and though we had chatted on several occasions about an artistic direction for our wedding video, he emailed us some notes he’d written down during our initial call with the early thoughts we had shared about things we wanted prioritized/not prioritized in the video. He asked us if this was still how we felt, now that the wedding was over. This was like a chef coming to your table to ask about your meal, and if he can get you anything – again, this sets Matt apart. In fact, there were some important things we wanted to change from those initial thoughts because our perspective had changed. That attention to detail is baller.

As for the wedding day itself: Matt (and his second shooter, Dan) were professional, energetic, and operated mostly behind-the-scenes, as we’d hoped. We didn’t want to hear the whirring of drones as we delivered our vows. We didn’t want the photographers/videographers tripping over each other. Matt assured us neither of those things would happen, and sure enough, they didn’t. One of the many things we love about Matt and NEC is the way they genuinely captured our day as it unfolded (not as tons of staging or doctoring could have made it seem.) We gave Matt a lot of artistic license and the video he delivered was very authentic to us. Of course, there were some moments where we stopped to get a certain shot, especially during the sunset hour, but the balance was terrific.

Thank you, Matt. We will watch our wedding video on our anniversary for years to come.

Matt is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! From the first meeting, to the big day he put us at ease and instantly felt like one of our friends we had known forever. This makes a huge difference when you are spending the most important day of your life with this person with you every step of the way. Besides his unbelievable work which speaks for itself (not a cookie cutter boring/cheesy wedding film in sight! Each video tells its own couples story) he is an absolute trooper! It was DOWNPOURING our entire wedding day. Some videographers would say "let's shoot inside" but not Matt. He trucked right out into the monsoon with us and got unbelievable movie quality footage of us frolicking. Not a complaint or a question- if we were game, so was he. Our guests commented that they were impressed with how quickly Matt was moving from one spot to the next (basically flying up stairwells at lighting speed) and I have had countless friends request his name once they saw our final work. AMAZING. I think pictures are great, but there is nothing like having a video of your special day. The sounds, the movements, the little details you forgot; it is amazing for us to have this film to cherish forever. You will not be disappointed with hiring New England Creative for your wedding day.

New England Creative did our wedding in September 2021 and we could not be happier! We have received so many compliments from friends and family on how amazing our video came out. I truly couldn’t agree more. Some guests didn’t even know we had a videographer! Matt and Dan somehow manage to capture all the best moments without you even feeling like you’re on film. The work that Matt does is something so rare and special to find. We were so honored to work with Matt at New England Creative for our videography at our October 2021 wedding. Matt was so warm, friendly and personable from the very start and guided us through the whole process until our wedding day. Our teaser film brought us to happy tears and we cannot wait to see the final product and to have these memories on video for a lifetime. When my husband and I first started wedding planning, we had no intention of booking a videographer. Several months into planning, we decided to look into wedding videographers. Thank goodness we changed our minds and found New England Creative, we are SO lucky to have had Matt capture our wedding day. Matt not only created an amazing film, he was also amazing to work with and truly made me and my husband feel so comfortable. It is so obvious that Matt pours his heart into his work, he creates such unique stories for each couple. Our wedding film is more than we could have ever imagined, we are so incredibly thankful to have met Matt and have him at our wedding. Many of our friends and family were unable to attend our wedding due to COVID, but we are grateful they were able to get a glimpse into our day in such a special way. Our wedding was in October and we still receive compliments on how amazing our short film is. I cannot say it enough, New England Creative is truly one of a kind and we feel so fortunate that Matt was able to tell our story in such a beautiful way.

Matt and the NEC team were truly amazing! From all the changes with the pandemic the team stuck by us from the venue of our dreams to our backyard. The video matches our personalities to a T and it feels like Matt has known us for years. I am completely blown away by the professionalism, customer service and delivery of an unbelievable video of our special day. All my expectations exceed! I cannot thank the NEC team enough!

We loved working with Matt for our wedding. He took the time to meet with us before the wedding to grab beers and just get to know each other (he doesn't live far from Treehouse Brewery... a great spot to meet up :). On wedding day, Matt was amazing, making sure we got all the video we needed without making us go out of our way. He created the most amazing film that captured the most important, memorable moments of our special day. We watch it at least once a month, and our parents were so grateful to have the video to remember the day. Several of our grandparents unfortunately couldn't make the wedding in person, but nothing made them happier than watching Matt's incredible video to feel like they were there. Don't skimp on videography, it is absolutely worth it and one of the most important reminders of our wedding day we will have for the rest of our lives.

I highly recommend New England Creative! Not only was Matt so easy to work with, but he is SO talented! We received so many compliments on our wedding teaser and video. We also loved our documentary edit, where we literally were able to relive our day. I was so happy with our decision to work with Matt, and couldn’t be more pleased with our videography!!

I'm having a heard time knowing where to begin this review because I want it to be just as perfect as the video Matt Garza produced for my husband and me. There is just no way I could even get close. His creative and cinematic approach to wedding videos is so incredibly beautiful. I am not the greatest at being in front of a camera without looking awkward or obvious yet somehow his direction and ability to capture the beauty of the raw and candid moments made us look like movie stars.
Throughout the planning stages, I had read that it is important to find a videographer and photographer that have worked with one another before. So once I had found NEC, I asked Matt who he recommended as far as photographers go. He gave me several different amazing options. I ended up going with the gifted Rachel Black at Rowanberry Lavender Photography.
These two talents worked so well with one another. It was like a well oiled machine. I felt so confident that Matt, Rachel (and Sarah! the extra photographer), were going to capture our wedding day perfectly. They all somehow melted into the background yet captured every important "big" moment AND the small details. Family and friends (even the distant friends.. you know the ones who are your FB friend but are from childhood and you haven't spoke to in years?) all told us how exquisite our video was.. even to the point of tears!
Matt was always easy to reach and very prompt with his replies. He has several different packages and options to fit alls kinds of budgets. He isn't shy about thinking and working "outside of the box." His passion for videography is so evident, he is continually furthering his knowledge on the subject by traveling internationally to conferences. He came to us before the wedding with a super neat creative approach to our video... wanting to include some shots of us "in our element" at our home and such. We ended up declining the offer, however it was so cool to have someone try to expand on the creativeness of our video. Matt was always super respectful of our decisions and encompassed "us" entirely in our wedding video.
Basically, if you are in search of a videographer, go with New England Creative. We HIGHLY recommend!!!
