I wish more than 5 stars was an option. I’ve been typing and erasing and retyping this review for days to try and find the words to show my appreciation for Raphael and nothing I write seems good enough. He truly is the backbone of this experience. He is the reason we get to relive the best day of our lives over and over again- the way he captures our videos doesn’t just remind me of the feeling that day, I feel like I’m truly back in time living the day all over again. We got lost in the videos. He is the sweetest shadow, he doesn’t skip a beat and has the ability to balance making sure everything he captures is perfect while also making sure we enjoy the moment and aren’t distracted. It’s incredible. There’s no way to describe how busy and overwhelming a wedding day is no matter how much planning went into it, though it was the happiest day of my life, that came with tons of adrenaline leading to so many moments I barely remembered. Not only does Raphael capture moments beautifully, they way he delivers them is just as impressive. If there’s ONE person/vendor I had to choose from for this day, it would be Native Tree Films over and over again without a single doubt. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Raphael. Raphael from Native Tree Films brought his own original ideas while being completely receptive to the vision we discussed in our consult. He perfectly captured the vibe we wanted—every section of the video felt authentic to us. He also collaborated well with our photographer (Sierra Carrington Photography) and they would feed off of each other’s creativity for shots.
The song choices he made were uncanny in how well they fit; it was as if he knew exactly what we dreamed. Our first time watching his work brought us to tears with all of the shots, moments, and songs brought together. Raphael’s balance of creativity and organization made the final film easy to enjoy and share with family.

Raphael is an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. He communicates well and responds quickly. On wedding day, he was so helpful and good at giving direction to get the shots he needed. We had some crazy unexpected weather and he worked hard to make sure we still got a beautiful video and it was better than we could've ever imagined! We just got our video back and we love it so much. We bawled watching it and really enjoyed the extra footage he sent over as well. He is very talented and made an absolutely beautiful video for us that we will cherish forever. The fact that he captured so much of our family and friends was a huge plus for us and I’m thankful we have these memories to look back on. The wedding video that Raphael delivered is honestly and truly the best wedding video that we've ever seen - and not just because it's our wedding! He truly has such a real perspective, and as someone who workings in the TV & Film industry, it felt like real filmmaking.

Overview:
Raph did an INCREDIBLE job on our wedding video! He was professional, responded timely throughout the wedding planning process and offered a variety of packages to best fit our needs. At first we hesitated on having videography but now we’re so glad that we did, especially because we picked Native Tree Films! I’m going to detail highlights below:

Pre- wedding planning:
Raph was very responsive from the moment I inquired about Native Tree Films to the moment he delivered our final video. Anytime we had questions, he not only sent responses but even included lighting diagrams to give us a sense of how lighting would be when I asked him. We decided to book a vendor partnership powerhouse which included Native Tree Films and Applehead Photography, which at the time (in 2023) included a discount for utilizing both teams.


During the wedding:
Raph showed up on time and brought a really calming presence to the high energy bridal suite. He offered suggestions on poses and really helped to direct us throughout the day. Unfortunately, our wedding day weather wasn’t ideal, which we thought would crush our rooftop dreams but Raph worked with us to still get the money shot! Most of our guests didn’t even realize we had a videographer during the ceremony because Raph was intentional about capturing moments but masterfully avoided taking the spotlight to do so. He captured every highlight from the day and I know we’ll treasure this video for a lifetime.

Post wedding:
After my husband and I watched the video, he said “I feel like I just relived the whole day!” And honestly, that’s the best part about working with Raph as your videographer and having a video from the day. He not only captured the moments but his music selection also really captured the energy and good feelings we had that day! The video delivery was timely and Raph made sure to communicate any changes/updates on timeline with us. The video quality is incredible and if you’re looking for an authentic yet cinematic recollection of your day, you can’t go wrong with Native Tree Films.

Raphael was the best choice for capturing the magic of our wedding day! It was so fun to look back at all the videos and we were so happy with all the content we got from that day. During the actual day and even leading up to the wedding, he was super nice and warm which was something you definitely need in your vendors on the day of --- when you're filled with nerves, it's nice to work with people who you feel very comfortable and connected to! The videos and the editing style -- perfection!! Everyone loved watching our videos too. (my family will be blunt and honest so the fact that they loved it to says a lot haha). As a video professional myself, selecting a wedding videographer was one of the most important parts of the planning process for me and the vendor I was the most particular about... and I'm SO glad we went with Native Tree Films! Raphael's vision is exactly what I was searching for - his shooting and editing style is such a fun, unique take on wedding films compared to the "traditional" wedding video.
