Where do we even begin?! Nathanael is THE wedding photographer to have! To be honest, we had no idea what to look for in a wedding photographer but when he was brought to us, he exceeded our expectations in every way. We were quite nervous about how to look natural in photos and how to pose but Nathanael quickly eased any worries we had. He is so friendly and enthusiastic that we quickly were put at ease. Not only did we have an absolute blast with our engagement shoot with him, but on our wedding day, he helped us feel comfortable being ourselves while he captured every sweet moment. Upon receiving our photos, we were taken aback at how every photo seemed to bring us back to that very special day. We regularly receive compliments on how "airy" our photos are and how well the day was captured. Nathanael was so much fun, and we could not recommend him enough to any couple! Don't overthink this...he is the absolute best.

Working with Nathanael was an absolute joy, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. We can't say enough about how good he was to work with. Nathanael made my partner and I feel totally comfortable (he's not always great in front of a camera), listened carefully to what we had to say beforehand, and despite the fact that both of us wanted some different things out of our photos, he managed to deliver on all fronts. Nathanael shot an incredible mix of (very natural-looking) posed family/bridal party photos, candids (my favorite, personally), and landscape/venue imagery. His photos captured the love and community of our wedding beautifully and by the time we finished looking through them, our faces were hurting from grinning so much. We've gotten a ton of compliments on Nathanael's work, and have even had several people tell us our photos are the best wedding photos they've ever seen. Looking back, we cannot imagine our day with anyone else but him!

Words cannot fully express how wonderful Nathanael was, both as a photographer and as a person. I needed a photographer on short notice due to my mother's sudden decline in health from cancer treatment. Nathanael accommodated me in his busy schedule and responded promptly to all my questions and concerns. His warm personality put everyone at ease, and he took the time to capture all the shots we wanted and more. The result was the most beautiful wedding photos and the last cherished portraits of my mom. I am incredibly grateful for Nathanael's outstanding work and professionalism. Nathanael was an incredible photographer and general presence at our wedding! He captured every moment beautifully and I can't emphasize enough how fun he is. Nathanael is the best. From first contact, he was friendly and prompt in arranging a time for us to meet. He listened to us, our desires, and explained how he could meet those. We didn't know exactly what to expect or how the process of selecting a photographer would go and he helped walk us through his process and answered questions we didn't even know to ask!
During our engagement shoot, he helped make us feel comfortable in front of the camera and my husband even left feeling good and having had a fun time! He even picked a location for us to shoot and it was exactly what we'd envisioned.
Our pictures for both the engagement turned out beautifully. His style is consistent. I can see the love my husband and I have for each other come through in the photos. They make me feel light, airy, and overjoyed.
He did a great job of capturing our entire wedding, with lots of variety and scenery. He was consistent with his timeline expectations as well.
My favorite thing about working with Nathanael was again just how friendly he was and how comfortable he made us in front of the camera. It made the experience feel so natural. Nathanael’s photos are absolutely incredible! I have received more comments about how beautiful and amazing the pictures turned out than anything else from my wedding day. He is so organized and extremely detail-oriented. He is able to capture your special day so beautifully! For someone who is not the most comfortable in front of the camera, Nathanael makes you feel completely at ease - and he makes you look your absolute best! He has such a clear vision and really captures each moment with stunning beauty and elegance.

I would say one of the most important things you need for your wedding is an amazing photographer (I’ve heard so many stories of regret not finding someone top-notch). Nathanael is incredible and there is no doubt that you will be over the moon if you choose him as your wedding photographer!

What first attracted us to Nathanael’s photography was his ability to balance beautiful portraits with light, landscape and moments of candid happiness. From our initial interactions with Nathanael, we were impressed with his professionalism and his kindness. He urged us to take the time to make sure that we felt he was the right photographer for our special day. Although we are not naturally comfortable in front of a camera, Nathanael made us feel at ease and seamlessly guided us through our engagement the session. On our wedding day, he was a friendly, calm face, and carried himself with the confidence of someone who has done this a million times. He, and his co photographer, Tara, were organized, energetic, and patient while being conscious of our time-sensitive schedule. What we really appreciated most about Nathanael was the way he found ways to remind us to stay in the moment amongst the chaos. He and Tara understood that a wedding day flies by and newlyweds can feel overwhelmed, being pulled in a million different directions by family and friends. But the time we got to spend taking photos was one way for us to have moments together- from the first look to the husband and wife portraits. When we saw our photos, we were blown away from Nathanael’s creativity in using color and landscape, and his ability to capture those special moments with family and friends. Our hearts are truly full and we feel as though we get to relive the day all over again whenever we look through those photos. We are very grateful to Nathanael for his hard work and beautiful photos. We would absolutely recommend Nathanael to anyone and I look forward to using him again in the future for family photos.
