We absolutely loved working with Nate and Alex for our engagement portraits and wedding day! They made us feel so comfortable and were so easy to work with. They flew out to Utah where we live to capture some amazing engagement photos and were a huge part of making our wedding day a success! Nate was able to efficiently organize my husband’s large extended family for group photos after the ceremony, which is no small feat. When the power went out at our venue, Nate and Alex went above and beyond to ensure we still captured important memories. Nate brought one of the lights he was using for photos to the bridal suite so I could use it to change into my saree and when we had to leave the venue several hours early due to the power outage he prioritized capturing group photos that we had told him in advance were important to us. Since we had to leave so early, we ended up having an after party at a local bar and Nate, Alex, and our videography team were kind enough to follow us there to capture the fun and a few more group photos! We are so appreciative of all they did to help make our unintentionally unconventional day a success.

If you’re thinking about booking Nate & Alex for your wedding and engagement photos, just do it!! Hiring Nate and Alex was one of the best decisions for our wedding. Once we booked them, we didn’t worry about photos at all! We were confident that they would do an amazing job. We were specifically looking for vibrant, colorful photos and they delivered perfectly. The two of them are incredibly friendly and professional. The day of, they kept things moving and never slowed down the schedule, yet they captured way more photos than we could’ve imagined! Their unlimited model for photos and time took stress off our plate too.

We also highly recommend renting their photobooth, which is really more like a mini studio right at your wedding. It was a HUGE hit at our wedding!! The photos turned out so well and guests were able to go online and download their own copies. Other photo booths produce grainy photos and/or only let you save the photos with a border around them or in a group of 3. With Nate & Alex’s photobooth, the photos turned out so well that 6 months later, I still have friends and family (and myself!) posting photos online of the day, printing them out for their walls at home, and talking about how they wished they’d taken more photos at the photobooth.

As two awkward people who never seem to get a good picture, Nate and Alex gave us hundreds of amazing photos from the wedding and from our engagement shoot! They gave posing tips and coached us throughout both and it made a huge difference.

Nate and his wife did a phenomenal job with our wedding! My husband and I are not used to being in front of the camera, but they always made us feel comfortable and gave lots of direction which I greatly appreciated. The photos are absolutely stunning, and we look forward to enjoying them for years to come!

Nate and Alex were incredible to work with! They were quick to respond, kept everything well-organized AND their photos are AMAZING!!!! My wedding week was a bit chaotic due to COVID-19 and the daily changes and new restrictions it imposed. We even had to move our wedding up 24 hours!! While some vendors had to back out- Nate and Alex came through. They worked so hard to make everything look perfect despite all the chaos. I am SO happy we chose Nate and Alex and HIGHLY recommend it to any bride/or anyone in need of a photographer. I can not say enough how great they are!!

Nate and Alex were the best decision of my entire wedding! They did our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we could not be more pleased. They captured every moment perfectly, and are such a joy to work with. They are extremely personable and genuine, which made it so easy to relay our ideas and feel comfortable while doing so. Our photos were delivered in a respectful amount of time after our wedding day, and presented to us in multiple formats which made it so easy to share them with family and friends! When purchasing wall art from them, they help you with decision making and design which is tremendously helpful. We also got an extremely high quality wedding album, which I could not be more excited about!!!! I honestly feel like I came out of this experience with two new life long friends. Our guests loved the photo station and the professional pictures and direction he gave to ensure the photos would be the best.

We wish we could give Nate and Alex 10/5 stars for their photography. We had both our engagement photos and our wedding photos taken by Nate and Alex. They went above and beyond both times and created fantastic images. If you are on the fence about the photo station, just do it - it was a highlight of our reception and everyone had a blast. Nate, Alex and their team (shout out to Jessica and Lauren :) ) are the epitome of professionalism and just great people overall. They felt like family during our wedding and we couldn't imagine working with anyone else for photography!

We used Nate Messarra for our engagements, wedding photobooth and wedding pictures, and everything was absolutely excellent! He works as a team with his wife, but unfortunately we did not get to work with her since she was out for pregnancy so my review is primarily about working with Nate. He made sure to find an EXCELLENT backup photographer for our big day when Alex was out though, and everything went as smoothly as it possibly could. The photobooth pictures have to be the best I have ever seen, and we keep getting an overwhelming amount of compliments on all of our pictures. With the engagements Nate is good about telling you how to pose and what to do with what, and made the whole experience feel very comfortable. If you want great engagement/wedding pictures I highly recommend Nate Messarra Photography.

We used Nate Messarra photography for our engagement photos, wedding photos and wedding photo booth. We are beyond happy with everything we have received from them. The photography couple are incredibly sweet and helpful. Nate did our photography for our engagement photos and we are in love with them. He always gave us plenty of ideas and direction to us which helped because we wouldn't know how to pose!!
They did the photo booth for our wedding on New Year's Eve and it was one of the best parts of the wedding. All of our guests looked gorgeous in the pictures and it is such a nice thing for them to have from our wedding!! He also did a live feed of the photo booth pictures onto a screen so we could see the photos all night which was soo fun!
We cannot wait to see our wedding day photos which we know will be beautiful!
