Since opening in October of 2005, the Nasher Museum has become one of the premiere events destinations in North Carolina. World-renowned architect Rafael Viñoly designed the 65,000-square-foot building, which houses three large gallery spaces, a museum store, university and community classrooms and Nasher Museum Café with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking sculpture gardens. Our 15,000-square foot Mary D. B. T. Semans Great Hall is the perfect place for an exclusive reception or dinner.
The museum is located between East and West campuses at Duke University, convenient to Duke Chapel, the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, hotels and Research Triangle Park. With an ambitious schedule of exhibitions and a growing collection of contemporary art, the Nasher Museum is a stimulating and ever-changing environment for education, the arts and events.

Amazing reception venue! We are so happy we chose to have our reception there. It was really spectacular. We worked with Donna from start to finish and were very happy with the way everything turned out. I would highly recommend having an event there.Sent on 02/11/2018

We are so happy with the way our wedding and reception turned out! Kathy was fantastic at coordinating all of our vendors and was always available to speak with us about our ideas. She was incredibly accommodating to our schedule as we were planning our event from out of town. The setting was gorgeous and surpassed all of our expectations. We definitely got our dream wedding at the Nasher Museum of Art!Sent on 03/25/2012

We absolutely loved this venue as did our guests. It was a beautiful space for our ceremony and reception. Guests also enjoyed being able to look through the galleries.Sent on 01/26/2015
