About

Artspace offers a unique facility for small and large events, workshops, and meetings. The building houses 30 artist studios, three exhibition galleries, one education room, and a three-story lobby with a winding staircase. For your privacy and pleasure, Artspace allows only one event in the building at a time.

Parties and receptions must begin after 6:00pm, Tuesdays-Saturdays (set up allowed in the afternoon), or may begin anytime Sundays or Mondays. Meetings, conferences, and corporate receptions may be held any day during regular business hours or evenings.

We will gladly work with the caterer, musicians, and event planner of your choice. Alcoholic beverages may be served. (A state ABC permit may be required.) Bands and DJ’s are permitted. Smoking is prohibited in the Artspace building.

Artspace is accessible to people with disabilities.

Guests loved it! Great communication

From the beginning Artspace had professional and prompt communication. Katie did a phenomenal job managing my many questions and making sure our event went smoothly. Biggest selling points below:
1. Supporting a nonprofit
2. Built in decor and historic hardwood floors
3. Tables and chairs included (not set up)
4. Flexibility with decor and rental drop off and pick up
5. Downtown location in City Market

Book this venue! You will not regret it.

My husband and I held our wedding ceremony in the upper gallery (Gallery 2) of Artspace in October of 2016, and it was everything we could've asked for! The gallery is quite large in size, and we were able to squeeze all 180 guests inside with plenty of room for the bridal party. No need for large amounts of decor, Artspace's historic wooden flooring, white brick walls, and gallery art are a great touch all on their own. My husband and I visit Artspace quite often throughout the year and were overjoyed to have it become a part of our big day. Mary Kay was a pleasure to work with, and was very responsive when we had questions. The staff made setting up for our big day a breeze! We also rented out one of the studio rooms to act as a holding/getting ready place, which worked out very well. I would highly recommend Artspace as a ceremony (or reception!) venue to anyone looking for a more low-key wedding, with a guest list that favors the smaller side.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
