I am so impressed with Jay at Mya-ki. I took my wedding dress in for alterations. I was incredibly nervous to take my dress anywhere, but the torso and upper portion of the dress needed to be taken in quite a bit. The first consultation was amazing. She knew what she was talking about and refused to promise more than she could deliver. She gave me advice on what should and shouldn't be altered on my fit-and-flare style dress so that I would be comfortable all night long. It's obvious how important her work is to her. It has heavy beading on the bodice and sleeves, and it is backless, so she had her work cut out for her, but she did a fantastic job. The dress fits beautifully. She even made me a custom petticoat to go with the dress. Her prices are amazing, and I will happily use her services again in the future. I highly recommend her!

When I purchased my wedding dress, the boutique told me that because of the "short notice" (4 months is not short notice for where I live) they would not be able to complete my alterations in-house. They gave me a list of seamstresses in the area but couldn't really seem to give me a confident recommendation on any of them, so I was nervous. My friend then told me about Jay, who made her wedding dress from scratch using only an image from Pinterest! Jay was able to line my lace wedding dress for next to nothing and it took her only a week to do it. My dress was PERFECT. She's incredible.

The MOST UNPROFESSIONAL human being I’ve ever witnessed. My maid of honor came here to get her dress alterations done and when she posted the following review she had the audacity to text this to her. Do not use her if you want to be treated with respect as a client.

We dropped off 2 small girls dresses almost 3 weeks ago. We tried to call and text her Monday night for an update, because we leave in less than a week for a wedding in another state. We've tried calling multiple times, left a few voicemails, and sent a lot of texts all with no response. I've read another review where someone described a similar situation, but being busy is no excuse for not sending any type of response to us. We've already paid for the alterations. All we want are the dresses back so that we can make other plans for alteration, but we are now needing to consider going to buy completely new dresses because we don't know if we will get them back at all.

Owner is so rude stay away from this lunatic, called to get information and was not helpful.
