MXBloom Films is a wedding cinematography and photography company operating out of the Dever, CO, and Seattle, WA areas. A little more about us, I'm Neil, and together with my wife Fiona, we capture the genuine emotions of your wedding day through stunning photography and cinematic films. With over 200 weddings documented, we create a fun, relaxed atmosphere, giving just enough direction to ensure you look your best. We're all about real laughs and heartfelt moments, allowing you to relive every feeling. Above all, we want you to fully enjoy your day and savor each precious moment.

Personal and elegant wedding photography in Washington State

Personal and elegant wedding photography. Neil and Fiona worked very hard to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted at every step of the way from planning, to the day of, to the receiving our final photos. The style and quality of the photos we received were very well represented by the galleries on the MX Blooms website. Very reasonably priced, especially given the incredibly high degree of service provided. Would definitely recommend!

We deeply appreciate them

This is a long-overdue review. Neil and Fiona captured our wedding last year, but we were so busy that we didn't have a chance to say thank you until they photographed another friend's wedding. Seeing their work as a guest gave us a new perspective. Neil and Fiona are not necessarily the social type, but their dedication to their craft means you can trust them with your big day. I was so wrapped up in the excitement of the day that I didn't fully realize what was happening until I saw the photos and films. These precious memories have made our day unforgettable. MXBloom Delivered Perfectly Captured Moments and a Seamless Livestream

Our July 2022 wedding needed both photography and livestreaming due to travel restrictions, and MXBloom exceeded our expectations. From the initial meeting, Neil’s patience and clarity in explaining the process and contract were impressive. The complimentary engagement session allowed us to build rapport with Fiona and Neil, who were prompt and creative with their photography. On the wedding day, they were diligent in capturing every moment and the livestream went off without a hitch thanks to Neil’s thoughtful planning. We received our photos and highlight film quickly, and we’re still moved every time we watch it. We couldn’t be happier with MXBloom’s service and highly recommend them!

Lumber Baron Inn - Colorado Wedding

We had Neil photograph our wedding at the Lumber Baron Inn and Gardens in Denver on June 8th, 2024, and it was the best decision ever! From the very beginning, Neil was fantastic. He responded to all our questions quickly throughout the planning process, and even offered valuable suggestions for our photo timeline on the wedding day itself. His calm and collected personality was a huge plus on such a whirlwind of a day! Just a week later, he sent us a stunning selection of "sneak peek" photos, and we're absolutely blown away by them! We can't wait to see the rest!

Fantastic, Professional Wedding Day Experience

Neil was so fantastic as our wedding day photographer. He made me and my wife feel so comfortable as we aren't the most photogenic people. He was in control of the photo schedule but also very warm and responsive in the way he guided us throughout the day. He took some amazing shots that we have seen from our previews. Neil also was a very unobtrusive presence throughout the day. Cannot recommend MXBloom enough!

Photography and videography excellence!

WOW!!! Neil & Fiona ended up giving us over 10 minutes on our wedding video. We are blown away at the production value. Their ability to construct a story, interweave audio to narrate a beautiful story and evenly capture the day from start to finish. Not to mention the artistic and all-encompassing photos they capture as well. They delivered WAY more than what we bargained for and we could not feel luckier to have had them help us on our day. 10/10 recommend!

Great Photography Experience with MXBloom

Neil & Fiona were highly attentive, detail-oriented, and easy to work with! We highly recommend them :) We purchased a wedding + engagement photography package, both of which went wonderfully. Fiona handled most of the photography for the engagement session and was great at directing/posing my fiancée (now wife) and I.

Neil was our photographer for our wedding, and he was just as good. He was punctual, very diligent in making sure all the shots we wanted were captured, and very creative in making the most of our venue. Our wedding party & guests were similarly impressed by him.

True professionals who deliver amazing work!

Neil & Calvin were so awesome to work with! Prior to our wedding, Neil was diligent in reaching out to understand our preferences, timeline, etc. They even arrived earlier than originally planned to ensure there was enough time to capture the details and getting ready photos. Throughout the day, they did a great job of somehow being everywhere we needed, but never in the way. As someone who doesn't love being in front of the camera, they made me very comfortable and are clearly true professionals. I'm loving our sneak peek photos & can't wait to see the rest, along with the videography! I'd definitely recommend working with MXBloom. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for us on our big day!!

High Quality Photography and Videography

There were so many memorable moments in one day captured by MX Bloom. Our reception was a bit later after we got married due to COVID, and so it was so important for us to capture the moment when both sides of the family finally came together to one place on our special day. MX Bloom did not miss a beat on capturing all the fun moments. We got the photography and video package, and it was worth it. So if you are having a wedding, don't get just a photographer, get a videographer too! The photos and video footage came out very well, and the quality is impressive. Highly recommend it.
