The food was absolutely delicious and they were so wonderful with setting up and serving the food for my guest.

I met Shauna through Lori Cole Events while I was in the middle of changing venues two weeks out from my wedding date. Shauna was super helpful in making my crazy and stressful transition a breeze. It was simple to tell her how many guests I had attending my wedding and what food I had planned.

Everything was simple and everyone love the food. We had lemon chicken, tri-tip (my favorite), tomato basil pasta salad, salad, and bread bun with butter. The staff served each of the guests at the buffet line, and picked up guests' plates when they were done.

Shauna was wonderful to work with. We got married at Pageo Lavender Farm last week, and Mustard Seed is their preferred catering. We received so many positive comments about dinner, and it was incredible. They were very professional, and everything went off without a hitch. We had the chimchurri tri tip, lemon herb chicken, baby spinach salad with strawberries, roasted red potatoes and a dinner roll. All of the flavors were great together. They also provided a child’s plate with macaroni and cheese, chicken tenders, fruit and veggies. I highly recommend mustard seed!

I got married on July 21, 2018 at Pageo Lavender Farm in Turlock. Mustard Seed is the exclusive caterer to the venue, and about 8 months before our wedding day I reached out to the owner Shauna to start the menu selection process. We booked a date to visit the venue for a tasting and enjoyed each item that was on the menu. I spoke with Shauna on the phone afterwards to discuss how we could accommodate guests that were vegetarian and how to best pair the sides and entrees together in anticipation of a hot summer day. Shauna was so insightful and accommodating, offering to modify a certain number of plates for our vegetarian guests, and giving suggestions for which dishes might be better in the summer.

For cocktail hour, we selected the cucumber with lemon herb cream cheese and shrimp and the caprese skewers to go with the fruit, cheese and cracker platter that was a standard to the package we selected. For the reception dinner, we selected a garden salad, cold pasta salad, tri-tip with chimichurri sauce, honey pecan chicken (the crowd favorite!) and a small amount of bruschetta-stuffed bell peppers for our vegetarian guests. Shauna was patient and responsive to all the questions I emailed her with over this planning period, and the Mustard Seed servers and staff that worked during our wedding day were so friendly and helpful. All our guests raved about the food and service! I am so pleased with my experience working with Mustard Seed Catering and recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer in the area for their special event!

I cannot express enough how awesome Mustard Seed Catering is! The food was amazing! We had appetizers (both a table of appetizers and some passed around) and a two entree buffet for about 280 people. Shauna and her team not only got it right, they went above and beyond. I am not exagerrating when I say that everything was perfect! The guests raved about the food, and Geoff and I couldn't have been more pleased!

Here's another thing about Mustard Seed -- not only is the food outstanding, so is their service. We met with Shauna and Holly a couple of times before the big day to go over the details. It wasn't just about the food - it was about the table settings, where things were going to be staged, and general flow. Shauna provided the entire wait staff -- not only folks to prepare and serve the food, but also staff to set up the tables and tend the bar, and to tear it all down. There was no detail too small - Shauna and her team had it all covered. Throughout the entire planning process, and the day of, I felt completely comfortable with Shauna's oversight. Not only is she competent, she is a pleasure to work with! She is always upbeat and professional, despite a demanding schedule. I can't say enough kind things. If you have a chance to choose Mustard Seed Catering, do not think twice about it!

Our guests raved about the food! It has probably been the most-commented on part of our wedding. Shauna was wonderful to work with. She answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with everything. Katie worked with us as our day-of coordinator, and her up-beat attitude and attention to detail kept the whole evening running like clockwork and put everyone at ease. Cannot recommend this team highly enough!

We cannot say enough about Shauna's professionalism, quality of food and thoroughness to carry out every request we had for our wedding event. We found Mustard Seed Catering through the venue where we held our daughter's wedding. Shauna always responded to our emails & text messages quickly, and was very accommodating each time we changed our request or had questions about the menu we had chosen. The team at Mustard Seed Catering handled every aspect of the meal, drinks and dessert, going above and beyond expectations! The "served" buffet was nicely presented, the guest line moved through smoothly and quickly, and everything was delicious! When our event coordinator failed to set up the cake for the ceremonial cutting, Shauna was right there to help get the cake placed and provide a plate and forks for the bride & groom. Our event was held at a venue that Mustard Seed Catering frequently services, and Shauna's experience there comes through with perfection! Highly recommend!
