Let me start by saying Dan went above and beyond. My wife and I planned our wedding ourselves rather than hire a planner. Dan helped us with getting our timeline figured out. Everything Dan did from the music to helping keep us notified of the time to keep us on track with our timeline. Those are just a few of the many things he helped us with. I would highly reccommend Dan for any type of event.

My wife and I hired DJ Dan for our wedding this past September. We knew from our first meeting with him that he had extensive experience and professionalism and that our wedding was in good hands. We met with him on two additional occasions and he walked us through our wedding timeline, helped us make the important song choices, and offered great feedback to our many questions.

When the big day came he delivered a phenomenal atmosphere that kept everyone dancing for 4 straight hours. We all danced so hard we actually moved the dance floor about 3 feet! Above that Dan made sure that everything went smoothly and there were absolutely no surprises whatsoever. I cannot recommend Dan any more highly and I assure you that he will outstanding job. Please do yourself and your wedding a favor and consider him to be your DJ as well, you will not regret it!

Quality of Service: Dan is a constant professional. Maintains a clean cut professional appearance and is very professional and was/is very courteous when interacting with us and our guests. His equipment is top notch and tailored for doing weddings. For example, Dans music is on a laptop and he uses a download service so his music selection is limitless, his speakers are Bose towers, L1 series I believe, with a very nice sleek design and small footprint and put out excellent sound with a great range. At least for us, Dan’s service went far beyond what one would expect from a DJ. Dan kept our entire event on- track and on-schedule. The facility we chose for our weeding was beautiful but very disorganized. Dan brought order to what was setting up to be chaos. I can truly say that the event went wonderfully and the majority of the credit for this goes to Dan; thank you Dan.

Responsiveness: Dan was instrumental to us while we were planning our wedding. My new wife and I are both kept very busy with our jobs and to complicate things further were/are completely remodeling our new home. Dan provided us with an outline of items to think about including in our wedding and a well organized timeline for when to make decisions on things such as our first dance song and how to coordinate toasts. Maybe more importantly Dan initiated contact with us several times prior to the wedding keeping us on track during the planning stages. I would suggest meeting with Dan very early on in the planning stages of your event as he functions as more than just a DJ but as a coordinator as well. Thank you again Dan for holding our hand and guiding us through this.

Professionalism: As mentioned above; clean cut, well manicured, excellent equipment, very well organized, wore a nice tuxedo, and maintained a great attitude.

Value: Price seemed extremely reasonable, and I can recall, at the time of our meeting, feeling that of all the vendors (florist, linens, caterer) that the cost for Dan’s services seemed the most reasonable and that was when I was assuming his role would be limited to announcements and music. I am sure if you search craigslist or something you can find some kid with an I-pod and few speakers who will cost you less but you will not find a better value than Dan.

Flexibility: I don’t think that you can find a better example of flexibility and versatility than Dan’s performance and what he did for us at our wedding. Dan has the ability to think on his feet and work with a situation in flux to produce excellent results. One more note on this; while the facilities coordinators at our wedding were for the most part MIA, Dan identified the situation and with self guided motivation took the reins on coordinating things. He made sure we were on schedule and ready to go on time, cued our quartet to play, and cued the wedding party to walk down the isle, he never once complained or pointed a finger. He seemed very happy to take up the slack although it was more work for him.

Dan went above and beyond. We met with Dan in person twice, and were always in email communication leading up to our wedding. Just with our meet ups and emails I knew we were in capable hands. Even with continual downpours, Dan made sure our outdoor wedding ceremony and reception went as smoothly as possible. Having to make changes on the fly due to weather did not phase him one bit. He always communicated the ever changing plans with us which allowed us to relax and really enjoy our day.
I highly recommend Dan for your wedding or party. His professionalism, planning, and experience will make your special day even better.

Dan was the best! My daughter who is 20 said that my DJ was amazing so he’s appealing to all ages! He kept the night flowing and was very attentive to our needs. His professionalism is top notch and he was a joy to work with! One of my best friends also commented on the music. The wedding was an outdoor venue and the sound quality was perfect. I can't tell everyone how lucky we were to find Dan before our wedding. My wife and I aren't the most proactive planners, and this was certainly true when it came to our DJ for the wedding as well. Luckily, we found Dave about a month or so prior to our wedding date. We met with him one time and knew for certain he was the perfect choice for our event.

Dan never pressured us into anything and he didn't approach us like a salesman. He absolutely has YOUR best interests at heart, and he is incredibly flexible with making your experience exactly how you want it. We didn't have a great vision of our event, but Dan worked with us to mesh out the details and create an outline of the night.

During our reception, Dan was outstanding on the mic and with the song selection. The dance floor was crowded, and we even ended up extending our event beyond our scheduled time. He also kept us on track with visiting all our guests, when we had a few minutes of free time, and so on.

I can't stress enough how awesome Dan is at what he does, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

DJ Dan Davis is by far the best DJ I've worked with (and I've been in a ton of weddings before getting married myself). He advocates for you and does what ever it takes! For example, he personally carried my (the bride's) dinner plate to my table! If he sees a need, he steps in to help. He saw that I was holding a plate of food in a bridal gown and stepped in without saying a word. I'm so grateful to my fiance for researching extensively and finding us the best wedding DJ around!

Dan advocated for us every step of the way and went above and beyond at every turn. From our initial meeting to the day of the event, Dan was professional, organized, and attentive to our requests. Because of Dan's hard-work and attention to detail, we worried about nothing and simply enjoyed our wedding. He took care of numerous things behind the scenes that my bridesmaids, only after the fact, told me about.

Prior to the event, when we met with DJ Dan Davis, our wedding coordinator and venue, he spoke up on a few issues that were important to me and convinced the venue, caterers, etc. to do what we wanted rather than the way they usually did things.

The week before the wedding, he reminded me of songs and ideas I had but had forgotten from 6 months earlier. He's organized to say the least and truly keeps your own best interests in mind. His years of experience paid off, as he's seen tons of weddings and could easily adapt to what we were asking for and make suggestions when we needed professional input.

If you want peace of mind, expert advocacy, and the music you like to hear at your wedding or event, DJ Dan Davis is the best.

We were married 5/16/15 and were lucky enough to have found Dan Davis to be our DJ. However, to call him a "DJ" does not truly describe the amazing talent that he is. Dan was the "Master of Ceremonies" at our wedding. His professionalism and sincere desire to make the day a success was evident from our first meeting. He wanted the day to be about us and what our vision was rather than his or anyone else. He listened and gave great advise when asked. Our second meeting with him was to iron out all of the details of the day, the timeline, the music, the names of the participants down to when the dinner plate would hit the table. He made us feel like we were the only wedding in the world and it put our minds at ease, (especially mine). The day of the Ceremony he came early, set up his equipment, touched base with the vendors and my husband to ensure nothing had changed and that everything was on track. He adapted to timeline changes as we had a few without a hitch. He got the crowd up on their feet and knew exactly how to keep people on the dance floor and having an amazing time. He was fun to watch...every time I looked at him he was singing along, smiling and absolutely enjoys every second of what he does. I can say without a doubt Dan Davis is one of the biggest reasons our wedding was such a success and got so many compliments! Do yourself a favor and put your day in Dan Davis' hands and I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
