MSW Events is a full-service luxury wedding and event design house based in Kingston, Jamaica, led by founder Monique Walcott. For over 16 years, MSW Events has designed destination weddings, garden ceremonies, and large-scale celebrations across Jamaica, the wider Caribbean, and international markets.

Monique’s foundation was built at Sandals Dunn’s River, where she served as Wedding Manager planning daily ceremonies for guests traveling from around the world. In 2020, Sandals Resorts International headhunted her to rebuild the guest experience across its Club Level and butler-tier offerings — her work lifted guest satisfaction scores from 3.0 to 4.5 within a year and was adopted chain-wide as the “WOW Inspirations” program, later expanding her training across Sandals properties in Jamaica and St. Lucia.

Monique is a Preston Bailey–certified event planner and holds a B.Sc. in Business Management from Nova Southeastern University, alongside a Project Management certification from the University of the West Indies. She is also the creator of 14-14-14, Jamaica’s signature mass-wedding celebration uniting 14 couples in a single ceremony at Hope Botanical Gardens — an event that became a national moment, later revived to meet renewed demand for accessible, high-quality weddings.

MSW Events offers full-scope wedding planning and design: concept and creative direction, venue and vendor selection, budget management, custom floral design, day-of coordination, and complete production for destination weddings in Jamaica and across the Caribbean. The MSW team also produces corporate and social events, including product launches, retreats, and brand activations.
