What a beautiful chapel for a wedding. It is exactly what I dreamed of and imagined it would feel like from seeing the photos. The wood floors, lovely acoustics, large windows of natural light. We had our wedding there yesterday and Pastor John was a delight and so helpful and led our small wedding. This Chapel can accommodate larger weddings, but was also perfect for my Micro-wedding. Susan, the chapel manager was so accommodating and easy to contact. With her suggestions and contacts I was even able to pull my wedding plans together in just two days! Ed played the piano throughout setting a sweet tone. We were so delighted to have exchanged our vows at The Chapel of Morning Star.

Morning Star Lutheran Chapel is absolutely gorgeous. We were married here 9/10/11 at around 5:00 pm and the light coming through the huge windows was stunning. Our guests could not get over what a gorgeous location we had stumbled upon. This truly is a hidden gem in Charlotte and the two people we worked with from Morning Star Lutheran Church (Cindy Kerekes and Ed Tompkins) were fantastic. Cindy was so pleasant and helpful when we had our first visit to the Chapel and fell in love with it. There is also a great story behind the restoration of the Chapel and she is able to tell you all about it! Ed performed our ceremony music and he was such a joy to be around! He was full of energy and always very responsive with emails and willing to be flexible if we had wanted to change anything even at the last minute! If you are looking for an intimate wedding location that is naturally beautiful – this is your place. I can’t say enough good things about it!
