Moonlit in the Sun provides the romance and softness of a moonlit night as well as the beauty and joy of a sun-filled morning. Our ensemble includes a string trio, string duo, solo piano, and a piano trio and quartet that consists of a combination of violin, viola, cello and piano. Unlike many other groups, Moonlit in the Sun rehearses regularly and treats every event as if it were for royalty. AND -- our piano trio and quartet can provide continuous music for receptions that last 2-3 hours -- no breaks, no stops in the music.

Classical, Ragtime, Standards

Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Brahms. We play many of the most popular classical favorites, as well as some lesser-known pieces that we think you'll enjoy hearing. In addition to classical favorites, we also play ragtime selections, such as Scott Joplin's The Entertainer and Maple Leaf Rag. We also perform pop/jazz favorites some examples include Moon River, Stormy Weather, theme from Kismet, and Duke Ellington's Caravan. Click here to listen to us performing some of these pieces.

Moonlit in the Sun is a member of the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce and the eWomen Network. Together we have over 50 years performance experience that includes weddings, receptions, private parties, and corporate events. We also perform for ballroom dances as well -- foxtrots, tangos, and waltzes!
