We started working with Monique in 2019 for a wedding that was supposed to happen in June 2020. Obviously, we were forced to postpone, but ultimately got to have our day in August 2021. Throughout the whole process, Monique was both an unbelievable photographer as well as a great friend. She did an engagement shoot with us that provided the photos we've been using for our phone wallpaper, profile pics, and framed house decor ever since (they're gorgeous). And this past weekend she shot our wedding along with her assistant Alyssa. They both guided us through how to look our absolute best and how to make the most of the lighting on site. In the process, they added to the fun of our wedding by being kind, funny, and festive throughout the day. Monique sent along insanely high quality, perfectly edited sneak peek photos less than 12 hours after our event(!), and we spent the whole flight home scrolling through them and reminiscing about the day. She is simply the best at what she does. We could not recommend her any more highly.

Monique was the best decision I made for our wedding (besides my husband of course!) When I started planning I knew that photography was very important to me. I wanted someone who I could trust, who had a style I liked, and who I liked and felt comfortable around on a personal level. I found all of that and more with Monique. She was my wedding guru, personal stylist, hype girl, friend AND photographer all in one.

Leading up to the wedding she was nothing but helpful and sweet. I’m no good at fashion and she was so patient and helpful as I sent her tons of ideas on photo locations and outfits for our engagement photos. This continued throughout the year before my wedding - I had so many questions about EVERYTHING and Monique was always patient and kind and answered all of them! She also sent over her magazine that has so much helpful information, including a sample timeline that I used to build my wedding day timeline (which ended up being perfect!).

I’ve now had Monique take my photos 3 times (engagement photos, boudoir and wedding) and every time was SO much fun. Her personality is so bubbly and fun that you can’t help but have a good time! My husband hates having his photo taken, but even he wasn’t immune to Monique’s charm - he was relaxed and having a great time. Our family members even commented how expressive and happy he looks in the photos! Monique is the best hype girl you will ever have and will make you feel so good the entire time you are taking photos. She is also so good at directing you how to pose (we are both awkward and she made it easy!).

On the day of the wedding Monique and her second shooter Alyssa were on time, on top of the schedule, flexible, and fun! We had so many compliments from friends and family about how cool our photographers were and how easy they made everything.

Of course, the most important thing from a photographer is the photos - and Monique’s are, without fail, always amazing. She is so incredibly talented. Every photo she delivers is absolutely gorgeous. The scenery, the editing, and the emotion and fun she captures are all just perfect. She also sends you a few sneak peeks within a day or two which is AMAZING for those who are like me and dying to see photos.

I could not have picked a better photographer - I am seriously SO thankful to have been able to have Monique at my wedding!!!!

First of all, I can't believe she doesn't have any reviews on here yet! But then again, I'm just getting around to doing one. So, I pretty much beat things to death and research for days and days until I can't think straight anymore. That's also how I was with our wedding photographer. We had already met with a few photographers but something just wasn't clicking with anyone and I would repeatedly (and probably obsessively) look at their portfolios over and over again to pick out any flaws, and I would always find something, which would scare me. And to be honest, it was probably be more of that their STYLE wasn't exactly what I was looking for, I just didn't know it. I was referred to Monique from a mutual friend. She went out of her way to meet with us as we live in Oregon City and just happened to have a trip planned to pass through Eugene. She totally made it happen and seriously the MOMENT we sat down with her, I thought yep! We clicked. And that was super important to me. She did our PHENOMENAL engagement photos, they turned out better than I could've imagined it made me want to cry. We kind of did that as the trial (because, I have commitment issues apparently) and I booked her for the wedding right away. She is worth every single penny. Now here we are with our wedding a few months away and I can text my photographer about ANYTHING. Honestly. She feels like a friend and that's priceless. If you are searching high and low for a photographer, search no more! Just book her, you won't regret it! :)
