We're so glad we found Monica. She's been a direct and clear communicator and we're very happy with the engagement shoot she did for us. Really love her candid style and gentle editing that makes the pics look so "in the moment" and genuine. We are so excited for her to shoot our wedding this February. In such uncertain times it's nice to have no qualms about the quality of the photos we'll receive, but also no qualms about her reliability or punctuality.

Monica is overall AMAZING! There just aren't enough words to possibly describe how amazing each and every photo that Monica captures. Both my finance and I are camera shy, but her outgoing and personable personality allowed us to feel comfortable and at ease throughout our entire engagement session. We've changed our wedding date three times, and throughout the entire process, Monica has been nothing short of a dream. She was so accommodating and so compassionate and kind. We first met Monica at our complimentary engagement shoot and her easygoing nature definitely made us feel super relieved. (Posing for photos is not a common thing for us, that's for sure!) But, Monica made us feel like we were pros and have been posing our entire lives!

Monica's style is romantic and that's what made us choose her; her previous photography showcases her artistic vision and I really feel like she stands out from a lot of photographers that have the tendency to over edit and wash their subjects out with bright color.

Monica was so patient with us--my party was running late getting ready and she still managed to get all the portraits we wanted. Not to mention, she has a good understanding of lighting and was able to reposition us in a way that she knew would look best in the photos.

I can't wait to work with Monica again in the future for some other type of portrait...who knows, maybe maternity? ;)

If you are looking for a great photographer to shoot your wedding or your engagement pictures Monica is honestly the person you need. Monica did our engagement pictures for us and I have to say it was by far the best experience. My fiancé hates pictures, and doing this shoot for sure took both of us out of our comfort zone. But Monica made sure that it was fun and very comfortable, she made us feel that we could be ourselves and made the shoot so much fun.

Wow! Where do I even begin! Monica Mendoza is hands down one of the best in photography and her work shows it! Photopgrahy is very important to me as it captures all the special moments and the essence of our love story for the wedding. I am one to look at all my options before making a decision but with Monica, I knew I did NOT need to look any further and she was the perfect fit. I was lucky to have her capture my engagement shoot- which by the way- came out so beautiful! Monica exceeded my expectations and still have my family talking about how beautiful my "save the dates" turned out. She made my fiancé (who is VERY camera shy) and I feel very comfortable from the very beginning! I shared my vision with her and she LITERALLY delivered it! My husband hates having his picture taken, but Monica talked to him, walked him through really easy and natural poses that made photoshoots a breeze. I cannot recommend her more! She's very very talented and creative and we lost track of time during the engagement shoot. The photos turned out so gorgeous we had them framed and on display for the wedding! We've gotten a few preview photos from the wedding already and I'm already over the moon. I cannot recommend her more.

Monica is a wonderful person and a great photographer! She has a true gift and captured every special moment of our Wedding Day. We were very pleased when we received a preview of our photos only a couple of weeks after getting married in June, and even more pleased with the rest of the photos. Monica was not feeling well on the day of our wedding, and compensated by providing a third photographer. Her counterpart, Rachel, and the third photographer were a joy to work with as well, and got great photos of the groomsmen. Monica was professional, and kept us on schedule. She made sure to capture all the moments we wanted and captured every detail of the wedding. We are so glad we chose Monica for our wedding photographer and highly recommend!

Update: We had a wonderful wedding day with Monica!! She made my day easy and made me feel beautiful with all the shots she took! It rained on our day but she didnt let that hold me down. We took some great shots inside and even managed to get some outside! I would work with Monica again without a doubt!!
