As soon as we first saw MODAL, our wedding vision was finally clear. From the perfect way to have our wedding party stay with us and celebrate all weekend long, to the amazing selection at the bar, perfect atmosphere and inspired spaces to enjoy togetherness inside and out- MODAL had everything we needed for a magical and unique wedding weekend. We had our ceremony at another location and then hosted all our guests at MODAL for the reception, the staff and the owner Joe were EXTREMELY accommodating in helping us transform the space for a sitdown dinner and then flipping that effortlessly into the dance party room for the rest of the night. They answered all our questions for months leading up to the event, even got our special beverage requests, and Joe/MODAL staff's helpful and laid back vibe relieved a lot of the stress of planning such a logistically complicated event on the most important weekend of our lives!

Amazing Wedding Venue/Stay for Wedding Party
Joe and the Modal staff made our wedding weekend one that we will cherish forever! They were accommodating, warm, and welcoming. Joe went above and beyond throughout the process of wedding planning, and personally helped make our wedding day as stress-free as possible. Not only was it an amazing venue for the wedding, but it was also a wonderful place for our party to stay for the weekend. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the rain showers were fabulous! I highly recommend using Modal as a wedding venue and/or a place for your wedding party to stay!

modern + memorable ♥️
As a professional micro-wedding photographer, I would personally use Modal for my wedding planning, family accommodations, and their wedding services. There are very few hotels, venues or airbnbs I'd allow my family to stay in Greenville (I'm really picky) that compare to Modal! The rooms are so well-designed and the common areas are so inviting and conducive to hosting anything from a family weekend reunion to a full wedding day -- getting ready to reception! As someone with food allergies, I appreciate Modal's attentiveness to sensitivities and inclusivity, and just their overall hospitality. Modal has SO MUCH to offer beyond what I can cover in one review -- it's really worth the tour, and meet-and-greet with their owner, Joe! :)

Wonderful space!

Best location for intimate ceremony or wedding party gathering!
What can I say...Modal is the best! Not only is the building absolutely awesome (from the decor to the layout and the quality of EVERYTHING!) but it is also the perfect location for a gathering. It is perfect for a micro wedding or elopement OR, if you are looking to house your entire wedding party or close family/friends for a weekend -- it offers just what you need. The ability to host a dinner (either inside or on their beautiful deck) is also an added bonus! 10 stars for Modal!

Above and Beyond!!
I stayed at Modal for a bachelorette weekend and it was just beyond. Everything was so dreamy. The space was extremely clean, the staff was so kind. Would definitely stay there again - cannot recommend enough!!

Incredible
I’ve been a photographer for this venue before for an elopement and it was so clean and welcoming. I enjoyed every second working in this venue. The art on the walls makes for perfect settings, the rooms are adorable for getting read and intimate moments, and the grounds up front and out back were lovely.
