Everyone says that getting a wedding photographer that ‘gets’ you, is extremely important. I couldn’t agree more. I’m thrilled that I had my engagement shoot with Scott Roth’s Mistletoe Bride.
I was determined to do something very different and antithetic to the engagement video genre, yet still showcase our love story. I wanted to produce a short film based off Michael Jackson’s Thriller, complete with zombies. I searched Wedding Wire for NJ videographers/photographers who can capture gorgeous video/photos but also able to execute my crazy idea, and stay within budget; this was a tall task.
I came across Mistletoe Bride, described as catering to off-beat brides! Yes! I emailed Scott and he responded quickly. Scott made it happen. Although I was outside of the travel distance for Scott’s videographers, he went the extra mile to find a good videographer.
We met once before the photo shoot, exchanged many emails, and he was professional and well-prepared with ideas that synced with my plan. I don’t know many, if any, photographers who are skilled enough to make a bride look good juxtaposed to zombies, but boy did Scott impress me!
Scott accomplished a Herculean task: My fiancé HATES taking photos and Scott put him at ease and got him to have fun!
Scott took AMAZING photos, capturing a mix of traditional and non-traditional shots. He was as passionate about catering to off-beat brides as he advertised. I look forward to Scott photographing our wedding!

Our wedding was non-traditional and done in a cemetery; all things that Scott was not only okay with, but actually excited about! Scott was very professional in conducting business, but also very personable and responsive to our questions. He is an amazing photographer and really captured moments that mattered to us during our ceremony. Following our ceremony, he sought out the perfect setting and scenery that provided us with intimate images that recognized our love for all things dreary and macabre. We couldn't be happier with the end results. We have no doubt that anyone who decides to work with Scott in the future will be greatly pleased with the results and personalized moments captured through his lens.

Scott was very professional and accommodating. I would say our wedding was not traditional and we were not very organizaed, but he took the time to get the shots. Everyone had a great time and the shots came out wonderful.

Mistletoe Bride, Scott Roth and Sydney Beryl were absolutely amazing. They were on time, professional, reasonably priced and so out going and friendly. They worked hard the entire night and were accommodating to all our needs. We would by far recommend them to everyone! Thank you so much for making our wedding the BEST day of our lives!!!!

Scott was incredible from the start! Our engagement photos were amazing and I cannot stop looking at our wedding photos. He captured all the details and all the special moments so that we can relive them forever.

My husband and I are so happy that Scott was our wedding photographer. He was a wonderful person to work with. He captured many amazing moments on our wedding day. During our time with Scott, he was very professional and extremely flexible to our photography wants. When the location for our engagement shoot go snowed out and we had to find a new location right before the shoot, Scott just asked where he needed to be and he would be there. He was on time on our wedding day and prepared to get to work. Great time management. The photography package was a great value. We picked the package with the photo booth. Our guests had so much fun taking fun photos with the props. All the photos were put together in a beautiful scrape book with messages from our guest. Our wedding day went by so fast, but Scott has given us many beautiful photos to remember it.

Working with Scott and his team were so easy to work with. He even came a little early when we asked. He was very fair and reasonable in pricing and accommodating us. He had some great photo ideas too. We also used the photobooth and the videographer booked with this company. The photobooth was so fun and I highly recommend it! I can't complain at all.

If you are looking for beautiful photos, and not all posed, but some great candid shots by a professional who NEVER gets in the way, you want Scott!!! Everyone commented on our choice of a photographer who did his job respectively without being annoying (we've all seen that kind)!!

We had our ceremony on one day and the wedding celebration party a few months later. I loved Scott's work on both of these separate days/events!!

Scott is a very great photographer, I found him on Facebook and instantly fell in love with his photos. We had used his photo booth and second shooter option. The photo booth was a little slow, but I love the scrapbook he added so much into it to make it more then just photo booth photos. His second shooter was fabulous! I absolutely loved her. My sister also hired Scott, and she requested Sydney to come to her wedding as the shooter as well. The only problems we had with Scott, was his communication was very slow, and does need work. But his photos most definitely makes hiring Mistletoe Bride worth it.
