Marissa was the absolute best to work with! Her photos are STUNNING and she captured all the special shots for our wedding day. My husband and I could not love her more! :)

I’ve never felt so loved by a vendor!

Miss Riss and her assistant were so patient with me and my new husband during the entirety of the wedding planning process and the wedding itself.

Before the wedding day, she worked with me and my wedding planner to help space out the invoice so that I wasn’t paying it all at once. It really helped, especially because we had at least six vendors. I also appreciate how she was considerate of my payroll schedule, and didn’t give me a hard time if a payment was made a day or so after it was due. I definitely asked for permission first.

I never thought I would have such an amazing experience with my photographer. With the stress of wedding planning, never really got to have a one-on-one conversation with her. I only mentioned a few things to my wedding planner. However, at the venue on our wedding day, it was like we were best friends! She talked to me, and spent time with me, making sure my photos turned out beautifully. Even her assistant was so nice to me. It was like I made two friends that I never new I needed! They were so great and took every moment to capture my biggest dream come true.

My favorite part is that Miss Riss and her assistant never failed to pull out their camera and take pictures of candid moments, like my niece doing a cute dance, or me and my husband making glimpses at each other from different parts of the room. She even got photos of times when my dad would take to the dance floor (a rare occasion)!

I’m so excited to see the final photos. I haven’t seen any just yet, but I know she took many, so I’m excited to see them.

Looking for a photographer when you live 8+ hours away from the place you’re getting married is extremely difficult (along with finding everything else)…. I came across Marissa on Instagram and fell in love with how she edits her photos & her photography! She photographed our wedding in October 2021 in Gatlinburg and we absolutely LOVE all of our photos. I would definitely recommend her for your wedding photos!! 💜

When we started planning our destination wedding, my top priority was finding a photographer who could capture our day perfectly so I could share them with family and friends back home who couldn’t be there. My husband and I greatly enjoyed working with Marissa. We worked with her for both our engagement and our wedding photos. She was very flexible with changing the date of our engagement shoot due to a rainstorm. She was great to work with for the wedding and we love our wedding pictures. We highly recommend her!

Not even sure where to begin but I’ll start with my husband and I didn’t want a wedding. We wanted a small gathering, city hall then honeymoon. What we actually got was one of the best days of our lives. A beautiful (but small) wedding topped with the greatest photographer I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting. She came as a recommendation to me and being this was a destination wedding and THERE WAS NO VIDEOGRAPHER, I really needed someone to capture photos beyond regular photos (if that makes sense) I needed her to make me not regret we opted out of a videographer and we surely didn’t. From the moment we decided to go with her she walked me through the steps and asked me questions I never thought about. She really made sure that she captured what we felt was most important while adding in what she thought was important (things I didn’t think of but so glad she did). Patience? Oh she has enough to give out to everyone. My husband and I aren’t really the photogenic type and we love to joke around. Through the first look up until the very end of the wedding she let us be ourselves while still making the pictures beyond what we ever expected. She captured all of our guests in the most perfect ways. All the big and little moments were all there and than everything in between. I still full heartily do not regret not having a videographer. She definitely had more on her plate because of that and she didn’t fail us. In fact she exceeded what we thought was possible. Thank you for capturing such beautiful pictures now we are able to live through them forever !

Miss Riss was so amazing for all of my wedding activities! She was super flexible with me and had great ideas, things that I never would have thought of! When we received our pictures, we were in LOVE! She was great to work with which made a busy/stressful time so easy!
