I got my wedding cake for my micromony from Minooka’s and it was perfect! We got a cheesecake for 12 people and it was decorated to match our inspiration photo. Not only was the cheesecake absolutely delicious, but Minooka’s was such a pleasure to work with! I ordered the cake just a few weeks before the wedding and Minooka’s even delivered the cake to the restaurant after our ceremony. That was huge for me because we had so much going on that day; it would have been extra stress to go pick it up. I am not from the area (my husband is) and I called many local pastry and cake shops that either wouldn’t deliver such a small wedding cake or didn’t make cheesecakes. I am so glad I found Minooka’s! The wedding package that we had from our venue, the Radisson Lackwanna Station, included a cake from Minooka. We are not local to the area, so we trusted that this was a good thing. We were not disappointed - our cake was lovely and tasty!

JOE!!!!! absolutely NAILED our Wedding cake! I had ordered a 3 lb solid white chocolate topper for our cake and Joe did not bat an eyelash about working with it while other bakeries were too intimidated...he even hand painted details of the chocolate with metallic gold paint for us. Being a huge sweets person, our cake was one of the more important details of our Wedding day for me and i could NOT be more happy with how it turned out. Minooka Pastry Shop came highly recommended by our caterer for our July 28th, 2018 wedding! It was very easy to set up a meeting, communication was great, and the tasting was delicious and laid back! We knew we made the right choice right away! I had different design elements from different pictures for our wedding cake and he made my dream a reality! The cake was absolutely beautiful, delicious and the guests still comment on how great the cake was! Delivery was quick and easy! We chose different flavors for the different tiers and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! We can not wait to eat the strawberry top of our wedding cake next July! My husband and I are not really into cake, so we decided to go with pies for our wedding. Originally, we were going to get them from a place near where my husband grew up, but we decided to switch last minute to Minooka Pastry Shop last minute because it would be easier to pick the pies up from there, even though we never tasted them or had anything from their bakery.

I called and placed my order a few days before I needed 15 pies. They took the order over the phone, and I picked them up the night before our wedding.

Later on I found out our caterer also uses Minooka as part of their wedding cake package. Once I heard that, I knew I made the right choice.

These pies were absolutely delicious. We had plenty left over with 15 pies and about 135 guests. I would go back there just to get some pie again.

Also, the pies were relatively cheap compared to other places in the surrounding area.

I have been getting all my cakes from Minooka since I could remember, so there was no doubt I'd get my wedding cake from them. We were not disappointed! We worked with Joe and he was amazing! Even though we were states away, Joe was there whenever we had questions. We sent pictures of what we wanted each tier to look like and he did exactly that. Our cake turned out beautifully and the cake itself was so moist and flavorful. We fully recommend Minooka Pastry Shop for all your cake needs!
