Born and raised in Puerto Rico, at an early age Mima discovered her passion and talent for art, and began to work on defining that passion. At a very young age she began pencil drawing, always finding beauty and inspiration in everything that stole her sight, driving her to draw beautiful portraits and paintings most of which were found at her grandmother's house where she was raised with her twin sister. In 2009, she started working at her dream job in a worldwide known makeup cosmetic line. Surrounded with magnificent talent, she had the opportunity to learn new techniques and master her skills as a makeup artist. All this passion and confidence made her choose the next big step in her career; moving out of state. Once she learned that the key to fulfilling her dreams was focused on believing in herself and breaking every war of fear, she decided by the end of 2011 to leave her family and friends behind, and move directly to one of the most fashionably influential city; Miami, Fl. She began to work with numerous photographers, clothing fashion designers, swimsuit fashion designers, international top models and model agencies such as Next Model Management, Whilelmina Models, Elite Models Management, MC2 Model Management, Ford Models Miami, Deco Modelsand Mega Models Miami. The exposure she received made her renown make-up skills in high-demand. Mima is dedicated to creating beautiful faces, her vast knowledge and experience makes her make-up techniques and overall finish outstanding with leading fashion, print and media clientele.
