Mike Ewing is golden! He served as a de facto wedding planner, as well as our MC/DJ at the event. He orchestrated the rehearsal and gently and diplomatically quelled the drama that accompanies such events. We could not be more delighted with Michael's performance.

His music library is without equal, and he added those special songs we requested. Of special note, a number of our guests commended the perfect settings of his music decibel levels. That's quite a compliment! He was totally professional and personable with the event schedule and guests, respectively. We cannot say enough glowing comments about this first-class gentleman.

My advice would be to engage Michael as early in the planning process as possible. His value is limitless throughout the stages. And, at execution...during the seminal event...he is as calm as can be...yet and endlessly helpful. What a first-class professional!

Mike is a highly professional DJ and master of ceremonies. He did a wonderful job providing audio at both the ceremony site as well as the reception. He kept the events moving along and was very personable. I enjoyed working with him and would have him at any future event in a heart beat!

We hired Mike for our wedding at the San Mateo County History Museum and I am SO glad that we found him.

When I first met him he was incredibly professional and though he had never worked at the venue before, he had called around to get details from other DJs and came prepared with a recommendation for how we set things up. I told him a little about what we were looking for and he just got it immediately. In follow up venue visits he was always early and accommodating with all of the venue requirements and my requests. He responded to all of my emails promptly -- and I sent quite a few in the weeks leading up to the event. It is also important to note that he is the nicest guy and that really makes a difference when selecting what vendors you work with.

Then, the big day happened and he was flawless. He read the crowd and was able to play song after song that kept every one of our wedding guests on the dance floor. Guests at our wedding were predominantly in their late 20's and he was able to find songs that worked for those guests as well as our older relatives. Everyone had a blast. One of my fears was that we wouldn't have enough people dancing but he selected the best first dance song (for everyone to kick off the party) to get everyone out there and then followed it up with hit after hit to keep everyone out there. I've never had so much fun!

After the wedding, the most common review has been that our music was amazing. It set the mood for a fun party while still retaining a classy wedding feel. I honestly didn't realize how important selecting the right DJ was until after our wedding and I am so thankful that we were lucky and ended up with Mike. I haven't heard another wedding DJ that comes close to him. Book him and you will not be sorry.
