Fox banquets took care of everything! The food was amazing, the decorations were beautiful and they took care of all the set up. Our day was absolutely care free - best day ever!

I cannot say enough about how happy we are on our decision to hire Fox Banquets to handle our banquet and catering needs for our wedding. Both Deb and Jennifer were wonderful to work with.
The planning process began over two years ago, and we stumbled upon Fox Banquets early in our planning process. Neither of us are from the Appleton area, but having both been involved in other weddings we were pleasantly surprised with the price! No extra fee for bartenders; no extra fee for the banquet hall; no hidden fees anywhere! This surely had to be too good to be true. After talking a couple times with Deb, we were completely at ease. Her professionalism and decades of experience showed through each and every time we discussed options for our reception.
The food was fantastic! We came in a month or two before our wedding and decided on the chicken Florentine and the steak tips. Both were fresh, juicy, flavorful and a great value! Our guests at the wedding loved the food, and we heard the same thing from many of the guests: “…this is the best food we’ve had at a wedding!” I would completely agree with their statements. The family style portions ensured no one left hungry, and it was, hands-down, the best meal I’ve ever had at a wedding. The staff was prompt in refilling empty dishes, and keeping a neat and clean atmosphere.
We opted for the decoration package offered, and we are happy we did. The week of the wedding we were able to drop off our decorations and forget about them. When we arrived the flowers and other décor we supplied were neatly arranged and everything looked beautiful. The best part: we didn’t have to set anything up or tear anything down afterwards! Jennifer was wonderful in making sure our celebration went off without a hitch. She was on the ball when our first keg was empty, promptly asking me if we wanted to tap the next. The cupcakes were all delivered by the staff without any extra fees.

I had my ceremony and reception held at Fox Banquets on January 16 2016. I went with the decoration package so all of my stuff was set out and ready before I got there. The set up for the ceremony was beautiful and the food was amazing. I had no issues and was even refunded for the beer that my guests didn't drink! Everyone was very helpful and very professional.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Fox Banquets the night before our wedding and we honestly couldn't have picked a better spot! The food was PHENOMENAL, pricing was completely affordable, and the view of the Fox River and Fox Valley from the banquet room was beautiful. I originally wanted a casual bar setting for our rehearsal dinner and I am SO glad we went with Fox Banquets instead. The waitstaff was so wonderful, the setting was intimate for our closest 30 friends and family, and the food was as amazingly delicious as our wedding reception dinner the next night. Nothing but praises for this wonderful venue.

We chose Rivertyme to cater our wedding. From the planning stage through the reception itself, we were very impressed with the service. The food was delicious, staff was courteous and professional, and they made sure everything ran completely smoothly on the big day. Great caterer!

We had Fox Banquets Cater our wedding off site. We had nothing but rave reviews about how excellent the food was, even almost a year later people are still talking about it! They were also phenomenal to work with. Deb was extremely accommodating and made sure everything was to our liking and the chef even came out at the dinner to make sure everything was satisfactory. Trust me, I am very picky and we did multiple tastings until everything was to our liking. I called every place in the valley and did tastings at many different places. Fox Banquets food, quality, service, and prices were by far the best. I am usually the person who eats before or after going to a wedding because the food is so awful (greasy fried chicken and dried out beef tips..yuck!) and I have many friends who do the same. This was not the case. Everyone loved it! I also come from a family with lots of large farm boys and big eaters. NOBODY left hungry! There was plenty of food (we did family style) and they even donated the leftovers to a homeless shelter of our choosing. I frequently have people telling me that they wish they could have that meal again, and we feel the same. I will definitely use Fox Banquets at my next event and highly recommend them to anyone who asks!

Debra and her staff at Fox Banquets were terrific with our wedding reception. She told us everything to expect for our wedding reception and how much each service would cost. We were on a tight budget but our bill was exactly what we were quoted up front and there were no surprises. They even asked before serving any additional drinks to ensure we didn't go over budget.
The food was delicious and our wedding guests couldn't say enough positive things about our choice of Fox Banquets. Their bartenders and wait staff were friendly and very helpful. Thank you again to everyone at Fox Banquets.

Fox Banquets was perfect and they know all the right questions to ask us to make sure they day went as planned. All our guests told us that the food was amazing and that they loved how they had two different meats to pick from. They said the service was excellent when a dish was running low there was already a new dish to replace it. It has a great room with windows and an outdoor space. It was the perfect place for our wedding!

Fox Banquets turned out to be a great place for our reception. We ultimately picked it for the value - we wanted good food with an awesome ambiance but were not willing to pay country club rates. (And it was only 1 of a few places left for the summer of 2012 when we were looking). With Fox Banquets, you get the good value, and good food, so it's worth it. The interior was less than desirable - orange walls, a giant townie bar, 1970s lighting, and garlands/christmas lights everywhere. But, we knew that going into it so I really can't complain. If you want the country club setting you have to be willing to pay for it!

Everyone RAVED about the food. I would say it was more like average (by Washington DC standards) - maybe 3/5 stars. Everything was cooked superbly (50 steaks w/ perfect pink middle!) but the food was bland. (But again, most people loved it.). The cheesecake that we had for dessert, though, was seriously AMAZING!!

Debra runs a tight ship and you can rest assured that there will be NO mistakes during your reception. She has very specific ideas of what wedding guests will like and not like - this can be helpful, but for me it was a major pain because I had to fight for anything I wanted that was outside the realm of a traditional WI wedding.

I recommend getting the decorating package, BUT make sure you put in writing up front what it will actually include. The flyer says they will set up any decorations that you give them for a flat rate of $300. But I found out the day before my wedding that she refused to put on my chair covers/sashes. And I had told her from the start that I would be buying chair covers/sashes for the reception, so not sure why she waited until the day before to tell me it wasn't included.

Oh, and our food orders were short of the minimum, Debra was very sweet and actually split the difference with us instead of making us pay the full extra amount for unmet minimum. That was unexpected but very nice!

They really exceeded my expectations, I knew that they would make it look good, but it was great. Everything was so beautiful and the staff there has exceptional customer service. They made the reception flow nicely when they were serving the food, and took direction well when I asked them to stop clearing plates, so it could be nice and quiet when the speeches were being made. The food was awesome, and all of my guests really enjoyed it, especially the Chicken Florentine! Thank you so much for making our day so beautiful!
