Who We Are
Chef Owned & Operated by Chef Robert “Tony” Phillips and his wife Cathy. We have been in business as a fine dining restaurant and a catering operation since 2009. Chef Tony’s culinary education and training started at Johnson & Wales University in Providence Rhode Island. His professional success over the past 35 years has taken him from private clubs across the country to pride in ownership of Catering With Taste.

What We Do
Catering With Taste has a full service catering operation. We specialize in parties 10 to 600 people, from food, plates, utensils, glassware, table linen or a full service bar we have everything needed to cater any size venue. Our staff has a professional appearance and is trained to provide a high-end level of service that is second to none. We listen to your vision and offer any guidance you may need to create your perfect event.

We are speechless!

Beyond blown away by Chef Tony and his entire team. There are no words to express how unbelievably perfect they were! Every guest raved about the food, the service, absolutely everything. As the bride and groom we were so taken care of the entire night and we are so grateful to the team!

Could not recommend more!!

Chef Tony and his staff were amazing to work with. My husband and I ended up with Tony as our caterer after our precious caterer fell through and Tony was there to save us! It could not have worked out better because the quality of service and food Tony has is unbeatable. He was super easy to work with and very flexible when it came to changing details and adjusting as things came up (which they inevitably do). There is no one more professional and capable you could boom with! We also got so many compliments on the food (especially the butter cake for dessert)!

We could not have been happier with our catering experience. The Catering With Taste team was professional, organized and reliable. Everything is executed seamlessly and the attention to detail helped make our wedding day stress-free. Many guests commented not only on the food but how attentive the staff was. Immediate yes for your wedding day!!

Chef Tony and his team made our wedding unforgettable! They made the entire process easy and went above and beyond to accommodate our wants and needs. The food was amazing, the service was over the top and our guests raved. 10/10 would recommend and they will be my first call for future catering needs.

Exceeded Our Expectations!

Chef Tony's team at Catering With Taste is EXCEPTIONAL! Our bar service (separate vendor) created a bit of a panic which delayed dinner by about 10 minutes or so. The Catering With Taste team, led by Vickie on this night, handled this delay BEAUTIFULLY and did so without sacrificing the quality or presentation of dinner. I would highly recommend this team for anyone's catering needs. HIGH level dining at an affordable price!

Catering with Taste at Northern Haus

We absolutely loved our experience with Catering with Taste for our Wedding at the Northern Haus in Sister Bay, WI on August 9th, 2026. We were impressed with the quality of the food and delivering on our expectations. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we and our guests were well taken care of. Everyone was friendly, professional, and knowledgable. We would definitely recommend Catering with Taste to anyone else!

Highly recommended

Catering with Taste was amazing. Tony is great to work with and really made it a smooth process. The staff was awesome, they were all so friendly and helpful. My wife and I were truly blown away by how great the staff was. I also think the value was outstanding. With most wedding venders you feel like you are getting price gouged but Catering with Taste was very fair, transparent, and flexible. I couldn't recommend this company enough, they are truly the best of the best.

Outstanding Food & Service

Chef Tony and his team were absolutely fantastic. The food was incredible, and we received countless compliments from our guests, especially on the steak and the gnocchi.

What stood out most was the level of service. Throughout the night, someone made sure we had plates of the appetizers and dinner brought directly to us. With everything going on during a wedding, that meant the world to us and ensured we were able to enjoy the food ourselves.

From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. We couldn’t have been happier and highly recommend Chef Tony and his team.

Everything was amazing

Tony was worth it all the way! His crew did set up, take down, served both bar, hors d'oeuvres, and the buffet. He knows this business inside and out and it shows. Tony was able to get us in with short notice, due to a wedding already taking place that day down the road from us. He was more than accomodating, his staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful, and not a single complaint about the food. So much to choose from to fit every diet and appetite. Will definitely recommend Tony to others!

Wedding Catering

I have never been to a wedding and found much to be memorable about the food - that is until I had my own and used Catering with Taste. They were first recommended to me by a friend who had recently been to a wedding they catered. Luckily they are also an exclusive vendor with my venue. The food was exceptional. Not just good for wedding food, but Michelin starred restaurant quality. It has been a week since our wedding which was full of a lot of memorable moments, and our guests still comment on how great the food was. My wife and I said yesterday that we wanted to visit Catering with Taste's own party/event space on our 6 month anniversary to enjoy the meal again. On top of the food, the service was exceptional. The staff was a well oil machined and just so incredibly sweet to work with. I could not recommend them more highly. Chef Tony and his team put on a master class of a meal and we could not be more grateful.
