We could not have had a better experience with Michael. Not only is he insanely talented, but he is so kind and made us feel so happy and comfortable throughout the entire wedding planning process. We had a great session taking engagement photos where he kept us laughing the whole time. The photos were absolutely stunning, artistic, but felt like "us" too. Throughout wedding planning, Michael scheduled calls with us to go over the schedule for the big day and was a huge part of helping us maximize time with guests while also getting all the most important shots. He was extremely professional but kept the bridal party engaged and laughing all day. Even the post wedding communication was fantastic. He provided our photos within just a few weeks. Finally, we had a manufacturer issue with our wedding photo albums, and as soon as we told Michael he was on the phone with the company and got us fresh albums. He is just an amazing person who cares about his clients! We are so happy we have his photos to look at for the rest of our lives, and now have a friend in Michael!

Michael was recommended to us by friends who had used him for their wedding. On multiple occasions leading up to the wedding they would tell us ‘you are going to love working with him- he’s the best’. And truthfully, they were right. He was wonderful and made the whole day so stress-free for us.

Leading up to the wedding day, we talked to him several times about what we were hoping to get out of the day and the moments we wanted to capture with the photos. And we discussed the plans for the day – having the wedding at our house and then later having the reception in Baltimore. We told him that we’d love to get some photos in the city. He said he’d be happy to help us with that and helped us figure out timing, so we would be able to take advantage of the best natural light in the afternoon. Because we had no idea of what we were doing, we asked for a couple recommendations on other vendors (wedding cake, hair and makeup etc.) and he was happy to oblige…and on a side note, we ended up using those vendors as well and couldn’t have been happier with them as well.

A couple of weeks before the wedding he came to our house to get an idea of the layout. While he was there, he gave us thoughts on what might look good or make things easy. And he spent some time taking photos of us in our yard just to give us an idea how things could look on our wedding day. After that, we felt completely comfortable and confident in Michael’s abilities and that the result would be what we were looking for.

On the day of the wedding, he showed up several hours before the ceremony to capture us getting ready and get some shots of people arriving. He was so professional and friendly when interacting with our guests. Multiple people at the wedding came up to us and commented on how great the photographer was- both friendly and polite. He checked in with us every step of the way to make sure we were comfortable with the shots and how everything was going. You could tell he was working so hard to make sure he captured all the special moments of the day. His energy is endless!
After the ceremony, we hitched a ride with Michael down to the city and he captured some photos of us outside in Fells as well as our cocktail hour and reception.

He truly has a gift for seeing what would make a good photo. He went above and beyond what we could have expected from him on the wedding day. He is a large reason why our wedding turned out exactly the way we wanted. Most importantly, when we got the photos back from him, they exceeded our expectations. We thought he would have captured some good shots, but everything he did turned out beautifully! A Top notch vendor to work with! Michael worked with our insane schedule and kept in close contact all along the way. The dedication to get the perfect shot was not unnoticed. The amount of compliments we heard from our family & friends about them the next day at brunch were endless!! Our package included a photo-booth and it was the highlight of the night for our guests and it was great to see the pictures after the wedding! Michael was one of the best parts about our wedding day. We were referred to him by one of our vendors and I hadn't seen his work until we met with him before the wedding. The album he showed us was beautiful and he was so sweet and easy to get along with and we were sold. On our wedding day he blew our minds. His level of professionalism is out of this world. Where do I begin?! Michael Stavrinos was our photographer, choreographer, and part time therapist. I have always been overly critical of myself I'm photos and was worried about finding a photographer who would make me feel at ease. Overly staged, cheesy photos are my nightmare...Michael and Keith made everything feel and look so natural and seamless. I can't explain how many comments we've gotten on our wedding photos...we are the third couple in our circle of friends to hire Michael for our wedding and I can't say enough great things about him. He somehow captured every moment without ever detracting from the experience, he was never pushy and did absolutely everything to understand our vision in advance of the big day. It's clear that Michael is really passionate about what he does and I couldn't possibly give a stronger recommendation for a wedding photographer.
