We were so glad we chose Michael Denius as the photographer! He was so reasonable, but his web site showed some great photography so we decided to go with him since we could not afford to spend thousands of dollars on photos. We just wanted the digital photos--not some fancy album. We wanted great shots and we got them! he really has a great eye for capturing the vibe of the wedding. He was very accommodating and took photos of everything we wanted and provided us with a DVD so we could make our own prints. One thing that really amazed me was how invisible he was during the reception. Never pushy, he just quietly did his job. The photos from the church ceremony were beautiful in spite of poor lighting in a church. he took so many beautiful photos, capturing every special moment and really cute ones of the little kids. He has great equipment and really knows his stuff. He may not always get back to your emails immediately, but don't worry, he is reliable and will be prepared for the day!

I will start off by saying Michael was on time, nice and very professional. He had an assistant with him so I had high hopes that not a moment would be missed on my special day. However, I could not have been more wrong. I am very unhappy with the quality of service I received and PAID FOR.

The photographerS missed my first dance with my husband... that's right, I have NO PICTURES of my first dance with my husband. I also do not have any pictures of my father/daughter dance. The only thing captured was our hug at the very end. I have 2 pictures with my bridesmaids, both with eyes closed and only 1 shot with my entire bridal party. The only pictures I have with my mother are those that were taken on the dance floor. I do not have any stationary shots with my mother or family. 95% of the pictures of us going around to tables are pictures of us taking pictures with other people. He was able to capture a few good/decent shots, but those good shots were ideas we gave him that we saw another photographer capture at our venue. Also, those 'good/decent' shots do not make up for all of the missed moments.

It took a month and a half to receive my DVDs. After I received the disks I realized that there were NO PICTURES on either disk. I sent Michael an Email to let him know and his response to me wasn't apologetic. Instead he proceeded to tell me how he's sent out 20 disks with no problems and to let him know if I can't get it to work... SIGHHH... I had to PAY money to send the disks back to PROVE that they were blank disks.

I honestly had high hopes for Michael Denius, but I made a huge mistake by choosing him as the photographer for my BIG day. He missed moments that I can never get back. Do yourself a favor and think twice before choosing him as your photographer.

He was initially wonderful to work with but has not fulfilled our signed contract up to 7 months later!

I was married over a year ago and I cannot get ahold of Mike to get my picture! It makes me sick that I paid someone and I dont have a single picture of my wedding! Shame on you!
