About
My business doesn't feel like a business. It feels like being paid to enjoy myself, and to ensure everyone else does too.
I take weddings very seriously, from the initial consultation until the bride and groom make their grand (or quiet) exit. I see my job as keeping the evening on track, rolling with any unexpected changes or challenges, making sure the guests have a great time and always know what is going on, and above all, taking care of the bride and groom. I interact consistently with the other vendors to make sure they are in position and ready for each important moment of the evening. I control the pace of the night but not in an obnoxious way - I use humor to get my point across but can be firm if necessary.
I have done karaoke at wedding receptions, so if that's what you want, let me know! We can definitely make it work and have a lot of fun, and of course I play music when people aren't singing. That way we avoid unpleasant silences. :)
My elevator speech: I always bring the energy, no matter the event. I love people and find that if I am having fun, then you and your guests are having fun. And that, ultimately, is my goal.
