Introduction

At Mercier's Music LLC, we know there are literally thousands of options when it comes to booking a Wedding DJ, Band, or otherwise. My name is John Mercier, Ceo and Co-Founder of Merciers Music LLC, and I have spent my entire life performing. From the age of four, I picked up my first instrument. Since then, I have acquired the ability to perform with 7 other instruments! Fed up with seeing stale and unreliable DJs and wedding bands that didn't deliver, the idea of luxurious DJ Fusion Bands & interactive DJs was birthed. DJs & Entertainers who know how to read a room no matter how diverse & unique your guests may be. People ask me, John, Which of the myriad of instruments you play are your favorite?

My reply is always the “audience”. Reading your audience and how to add that extra bit of pizazz, whether it be with our half violinist/DJ package or half saxophonist/DJ package, I got into this industry because I saw time and time again, DJs and Bands performing at the weddings of my family and friends. They played the songlist, people danced, and it was a night of great fun. However, what seemed to always be missing was an interaction and engagement between the MC (whether that be the lead singer or DJ) and the audience. There were moments of a stale dance floor and awkward moments where the MC could have easily engaged the audience by hyping the bride & groom and re-engaging the dance floor. Performing from the age of 11 has taught me one thing. Psychology in Music (Which is My educational background as a Music Therapist) has been the one thing missing from most weddings. We treat our couples like family. From being a street performer, capturing crowds of close to thousands around the world, to being flown to the DR, over to California, South America, Africa, and beyond! The reason why our couples have flown out our bands, DJ's, and MC's nationally and internationally is because Merciers Music always shows up and goes above and beyond the "call of duty". Some of our singers and musicians have performed with Ricky Martin, Justin Bieber, Marc Anthony, and more! When it comes to our couples, As you can see from our reviews, our customers are ecstatic. While we have only been with Wedding Wire & The Knot for only a little over a decade, Our Live Music Entertainment LLC has been in the business for almost 30 years, and our network is continually growing, booking HUNDREDS of DJs and bands across The U.S. every week!
