My advice to anyone looking to book Melissa as their photographer whether it is wedding or family, look no further. Melissa came highly recommended by a good friend for our wedding and she was even more amazing than we expected. Melissa and her team were professional and experienced. They captured moments that we will treasure always and did it all dealing with the fast pace of a wedding day. We had a sneak peak of our wedding photos and can't wait to see the rest. These photos are the start of our next chapter in our lives and what a beautiful start we have thanks to Melissa and her team of super starts. Melissa is worth every penny!!!! When I have little munchkins, I hope she is still working her magic.

If this system let me, I would give Melissa Serra a 10 on everything. I knew after our first meeting that she would do an amazing job capturing our special day. And she did not disappoint! She was so easy to work with and really listened to what we were looking for and helped bring it to life. I love going through our wedding pictures - I felt like the moments she captured were so unique to my husband and I, and what was important to us - unlike a lot of other places that capture the same shots over and over again and every wedding looks the same. Melissa's eye for light, composition and genuine human moments is what drew me to her work, and one of the (very) many reasons I'd recommend her to everyone I know. She also did a family shoot for us on the beach a few days before our big day, and I'm pretty sure I framed every picture - it was too hard to pick my favorite. And not only is her work beautiful, she is also a very sweet and beautiful soul. I'm so glad I met her and she was part of our most favorite day ever. She made it feel that much more special. Spend more time with family portraits to get several options.

Melissa was unbelievable. My husband and I were pretty much clueless when it came to our wedding photography. We were unsure about poses we wanted, setting etc. Melissa worked it out all for us! She coached us doing some of our formals so we got amazing photos. What I enjoyed even more than her formal portraits, were the candid moments she was able to capture without us even noticing. Laughing photos, crying, a moment between guests. We could not have imagined a more perfect day! What was even better was that, she allowed us to have a payment plan, when our original photographer quit last minute, and we needed her services 3 weeks before the wedding! She understood our severely tight budget, and let us pay for everything in installments. She was kind, caring, and really got to know our family. I recommend her to everyone.

Melissa made time for meetings before our wedding to talk about what are our expectations were with a Photographer for the wedding. She also wanted to learn our family dynamics so when picture time came at the wedding it would run smoothly and we would not waste a lot of time figuring out who needs to go where. This made our wedding day stress free with pictures because I knew Melissa had everything under control. Melissa also took AMAZING pictures. The moments she captured and ideas she had for photos were breathtaking. We are so lucky to have such amazing photos captured from our wedding!

Melissa is the best! It was such an emotional day, and she captured it in a way I could never expect. I can't wait to look at these images 20 years from now, and feel like I did that special day.

Melissa Serra has a true eye for creative photography. We couldn't have been happier with our wedding pictures. They were everything we could have imagined and more! Melissa is extremely professional, cooperative and easy to work with. She made sure to accommodate us throughout the planning process, including taking photos of us during an engagement session, visiting the wedding venue before the event to see the lay of the land, meeting with our vendors/ coordinators in advance and working within our budget. Most importantly, she captured all of our special moments on Our Big Day. She even enlisted the help of another photographer and an assistant to make sure nothing went overlooked. I can't begin to describe how lucky we are to have had such an incredible wedding day, but now we get to remember that as we go through the album she's helping us create.

Melissa was so pleasant to work with. We basically planned the wedding in three weeks and were thrilled to find that Melissa had our date available and was willing to work with us on such short notice. My husband is not one for photos. It makes him extremely uncomfortable. By the end of the ceremony he loved Melissa. She is pushy or intrusive. Our tiny wedding was a bit chaotic, not the best organized but she was easy going and just a joy to have with us on our wedding day. The photo's came back amazing. She has more of a journalistic style, which is exactly what we were looking for. Pricing was also very competitive.
