I cannot begin to recommend Megan enough or say enough positive things about her! Megan was the first wedding vendor that I contacted when I started planning our wedding and she was worth every single penny that we spent on wedding photography. Not only is Megan extremely talented, she is organized, efficient, and was so helpful in keeping us on schedule and making sure we got every single shot that we wanted. People are not exaggerating when they say you spend the most time on your wedding day with your photographer and videographer, so trust me when I say you want to be spending that time with Megan!

Megan was such a calm, patient presence throughout our planning process and wedding day. We were so grateful for how well she worked with our tight timeline and how kindly she answered my hundreds of questions when we were engaged! She captured our wedding day so beautifully, and we will treasure our images always!!

Photography was the first item on my list once we got engaged! In fact, I (insanely honestly) had booked Megan before my venue and church were even finalized! I had been following Megan on Instagram for a while and I loved her photos, her sweet stories, and the joy she exuded. We went with a package that included our wedding album and it's design - which after the fact I'm so glad I did! There were so many amazing photos and I never would have been able to design my own.

She came to Houston for our Engagement Photos and was so flexible in a new city with us and our crazy pups! She made my fiance and I so comfortable and we walked away having had the most fun!!

For our wedding weekend Megan was wonderful. We had her services for our rehearsal dinner and then our whole wedding day! She had a detailed schedule, worked seamlessly with our wedding planner, and captured every detail we could have imagined! She is kind, funny, and so joyful! She kept us from feeling stressed but managed to easily keep us moving throughout the day! Our day would not have been as fun or magical without her, I would have her with us 100 times over!!

I cannot share enough positive words about Megan! From the moment we first saw a wedding of a friend that she shot, we knew we had to reach out. After just a few emails, we were convinced she was going to be our photographer and we locked her in. From the very beginning, Megan made it a priority to build a relationship with Matt and myself. She really takes her work seriously and her personal touches are what make her so special and unique. Megan was so flexible (we had to change our engagement session plans a lot,) accommodating, incredibly responsive, professional and most of all, FUN to work with. Our engagement session was a blast and our home is plastered in photos from it. In the week leading up to our wedding day, Megan reached out to share that her husband, Justin, would be joining as a THIRD photographer. We received the most incredible collection of photos that perfectly captured every single aspect of our magical day. Megan is great with a crowd, she knows how to get people organized, she can make a candid photo happen in the snap of a finger, she knows how to pose you, and she is overall, just such a gentle and kind spirit to have around on a wedding day. We quickly learned how alike we were as brides, and Megan was so calming and kind in the hours leading up to our big day. Megan delivered 20+ edited photos at 3am after our wedding...that is some serious dedication! We saw our blog post within two weeks, and received our full album within 5. Her editing style is modern, yet classically beautiful. I know I made the right decision in hiring Megan for our wedding and I know we'll be hiring her for an anniversary shoot down the line! You won't regret hiring Megan!

During the wedding planning process, I spent a lot of time researching different wedding photographers in the area as I value wedding photography as a significant part of the experience and such an important investment. I came across Megan’s work through Instagram and loved the light, colors, and style of her images. They were bright, romantic and joyful – exactly what I was envisioning! Our wedding colors were blush and gold, similar to Megan’s own wedding so it became natural that Megan was the right photographer for us.

Once booked, Megan was the vendor I never had to worry about during the entire wedding planning process. She was so easy to work with and was always quick to respond to my emails. When we met her for the first time during our engagement session, we were extremely nervous about how to pose and look natural in front of the camera. Megan provided great direction and immediately put us at ease. The engagement photos turned out great and it was hard to choose from all the favorites for the wedding website!

On the wedding day, Megan came early to the venue and kept the timeline on schedule. My favorite moments were when she would check her photos on her camera screen and get all excited because the lighting or angle was perfect. Megan’s turnaround time is unbeatable. She sent us sneak peaks 2 days after the wedding and our complete online photo gallery in less than a week!

On top of that, Megan is extremely organized with all aspects of her business- emails, contracts, invoices, online galleries, blog etc. Our wedding photos were romantic and timeless - thank you Megan!

By far the best decision I made in wedding planning was choosing Megan. Our first priority for vendors was photography since our photos will live on past the day of excitement and fun. She is a ray of sunshine to work with and the care she takes for her clients shows in her responsiveness, true excitement for you and your event, and in her work. Her photos are stunning and our friends and family have been floored by the quality and her ability to capture the evening so seamlessly. She did our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and our whole wedding day. I cannot say enough good things about Megan and how special she made this time in our lives!

One of the best decisions I made as a bride-to-be was to hire Megan as our wedding photographer. I knew going into the planning that I wanted to work with someone younger yet experienced, who had an eye for capturing candid moments and a more modern style. I wanted, bright, beautiful, narrative photos that would capture every little detail of my day. I had enormously high expectations and Megan not only met but exceeded every single one of them. From the moment I spoke with her on our very first phone call I knew she would be the best photographer for us. She is incredibly personable, organized, professional, and kind. She even traveled down to North Carolina to take our engagement pictures for us, which was one of the most incredible experiences! Immediately Megan was able to create this surreal environment where it didn't matter where my fiance and I were or what we were doing - in that moment of taking those photos it was just the two of us. Megan was able to give direction while still making the entire experience about us. We laughed afterwards because we didn't even realize that people were watching or looking at us! We felt so comfortable and it made taking photos on our wedding day even more special. Megan listened to all of my questions and requests and delivered the wedding photos I always dreamed of. And on top of it all, Megan is one of the most genuinely sweet people I have ever met! Her positivity is infectious and she went out of her way time and time again to make us feel special. Thank you Megan for making our wedding day perfect!!

I honestly have no idea where to start with Megan. If you are looking for someone who takes absolutely beautiful photos, that with one look can transport you back to the day they were taking; but is also a loving and kind person, then Megan is your girl. I swear I must of spent weeks if not months looking for a photographer, and as soon as I saw Megan's website, I knew she was the winner (I didn't even see her photos yet =)). Megan makes you feel like you guys are old time buddies without losing any of her professionalism. From her loving email welcoming you to the MKBride family and her surprise bride package, to her information booklet with all the need to know inside, Megan has made the whole wedding photography experience amazing. On top of that, she is a great advice giver if ever needed. I will not, and have not hesitated to spread the happiness I have felt with choosing Megan as my photographer. I will definitely work with Megan again and I encourage others to do the same. God has definitely blessed this young woman with talent. My husband and I were so glad to have worked with her before she becomes to famous for us to afford her. =)

I can still remember my first phone call with Megan- she is so personable that I instantly knew that she would be a great addition to our big day. The engagement shoot confirmed that even more, as my camera- shy fiancé (now husband!) was able to relax, even though it was their first time meeting!

Megan's resources come time to plan the wedding day were so helpful in my efforts to set a realistic time line. With so many vendors and factors pressuring, I am so glad that I listened to Megan- she clearly had combined her experience as a wedding photographer and research to help her clients in their planning. AND her future clients will benefit even more as now she has been a bride herself!

Megan had this simultaneously excited and calm attitude our whole wedding day- she never distracted us from the excitement of the day; she didn't add any stress when things were a bit off. She was there to guide us in our portraits, but didn't get in the way of our intimacy or just moments of happiness and relief that the day we had waited for for so long was here!

In summary, I haven't doubted our decision to go with Megan Kelsey photography from the moment we made it. Now that it is all said and done, we have beautiful images of the best day of our life; and that is priceless.

WOW! Megan was unbelievably AWESOME. I have had nothing but wonderful compliments on our engagement and wedding pictures. My husband and I loved that the photos do not look staged or cliche. She created lovely images that capture the beauty of our wedding location and the excitement of the wedding day. Megan really has a great eye for a beautiful shot, and we will treasure all the photos. Megan's patience, professionalism, and skills were all deeply appreciated. I would certainly hire Megan again!!!
