Megan was the single best decision we made throughout our planning process! My husband and I have never been a couple that enjoy having our photo taken. Because of this, I was apprehensive that we would be able to find a photographer that could capture our day beautiful without making the task feel awkward. Megan was the first of many calls I had scheduled to “meet” photographer for our wedding. Immediately, I knew we needed to work with Megan, and canceled all other scheduled phone calls. She is so joyful, friendly, kind, and passionate about her art, we felt as if we had known her for years. She immediately put us at ease and made us excited (for the first one) to start having our photos taken.

Megan does so much more than photograph your wedding day. From the day we booked with Megan, she was always (happily) available to chat planning, tips for making the most out of the day, and advice for making our wedding and our photos exactly what we envisioned. She established a day of schedule, that incorporated every photo request we had, and made the entire day feel relaxed. The entire day was perfectly scheduled and stress free, all that’s to her hard work leading up to the wedding. She truly goes above and beyond to ensure that you have the wedding day of your dreams.

On top of her expert help with planning and details, Megan takes the most incredibly beautiful photographs. We were truly blow away by her ability to make every photo looked like a work of art. I can not tell you how many people have told us that they have never seen such gorgeous wedding photos, or how impressive it is she was able to capture every detail without being noticed. Every single photo is perfect! It is impossible to choose which photos to print!

Megan's eagerness to learn about our Love Story made us feel soooo special and as if we were her #1 priority prior, during and even after our destination engagement shoot. Her ability to catch each and every romantic and charming detail along our shoot represented the detail in who Michelino and are as a couple. She made everything seem so seamless and she didn't miss a beat! She has that natural ability to make her clients feel so important. Her epic photography skills and ability to capture natural light on the Brooklyn Bridge couldn't have been more perfect as she timed it perfectly for a vibrant, red/orange sunset reflecting off the skyline of NYC in the backdrop of our photos. This was inspiration Megan had discussed previously with us (a sunset on the Brooklyn Bridge in the background) but it was more than we ever imagined as the photos made it all come to life.
Be prepared to feel like gold. She allowed us to truly be ourselves and made us feel so good during the process which is so important making us feel so comfortable. As a newly engaged couple, she made us feel at our center, our "happy," "our peaceful zen" in NYC with over 8.4 million people, we felt on cloud 9 and in our own bubble the entire time. To us this was beyond special and it created such a memory.

Working with Megan was by far the best decision my husband and I made. It was important to us to find a photographer who could capture our story and to no surprise, we fell in love with Megan's work from the moment we saw it. Her photography style is classic, pure, and organic. She shoots with natural light and captures candid, stunning images that make you fall in love all over again. Her work speaks for itself. Megan shot not only our wedding photos, but our engagement session as well. After meeting with her for the first time, it was clear to us that her personality is just as beautiful as her photography. Throughout the planning process up until the day of our wedding, she was always one step ahead and made everything easy. She offered her expertise and was there for us the entire time – both as a photographer and friend. You see, Megan captures special moments, not photos – and she does so brilliantly. She is incredibly talented, creative, and personally one of the sweetest souls we have ever met. Megan is truly an artist. Words cannot express how thankful we are at the end result. Our experience with Megan was truly special and I cannot recommend her enough for engagement or wedding photography. She put us at ease straight away and made us feel comfortable to be ourselves throughout the whole shoot. Megan was able to capture the essence of our relationship and love in all of her pictures. Megan is simply a joy to work with. My fiancé and I planned our wedding over a year and a half, and didn't have a wedding planner. Megan was there every step of the way with answers, love and support for us whenever we needed it. The communication was seamless. Our wedding day was perfect. No stress, first looks were absolutely gorgeous. She has an eye for perfection, and it shows in her work. I have not one single complaint. The absolute best photographer you can ask for. I will and would recommend her to anyone! (Her assistant on our wedding day was very helpful as well!)

My daughter (and her fiance/husband) selected Megan as their wedding photographer. What a dream the experience with Megan has been. Megan shot photos not only for our destination wedding in Italy, but also for my daughter's engagement announcement and a reception at home. We found Megan to be: professional and punctual; flawless in developing and managing a schedule of photos, while also capturing the unplanned moments; organized with an artistic eye, and thoughtfully artful; respectful of our vision while presenting all the options; a delightful person with a winning smile; and last but not least, an all round amazing person. If this sounds a bit over the top, I do not apologize. Finding such a professional as Megan allowed me to relax in the knowledge that our special days would be appropriately documented - with the essence of the moment, and the magic of the day. I did not rate 'Value' with stars. I have no comparison for cost, but if value is defined by 'the days' experience' and the finished product, then my rating is five stars.

Choosing my photographer was a very delicate task for me - I was a photography minor in undergrad and had very high expectations. Megan shattered every single one. From my international engagement shoot, to my international wedding, and local reception, Megan was my confidant, my guide, and my friend through every moment. As someone who is much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it, Megan made me feel beautiful and photogenic. She will be your best friend and your kick ass photographer all in one swoop.

When the photos came to us two days ago, my mom and I sat there in awe. I spread them out to the wedding party and immediately got floods of texts of how they were so fantastic they all cried. Every moment was captured, every emotion felt was portrayed. I would have my wedding another three times to go through the experience with Megan again.

Megan was absolutely amazing! I can not say enough about the great experience I had with her for both engagement and wedding photos. Megan takes the time to get to know you with several phone conversations as well as questionnaires, by the end your old friends and she knows how you will feel most comfortable on your wedding day. During our engagement photos she came over early to help us pick out outfits that would work best for the photos. VERY helpful! For the day of she learned the schedule of the activities planned and kept everything on time and perfect. Even my limo driver the day of told me how great she was! The thing that really separates her from any of the other photographers in weddings I have been in is that she lets your day happen organically. All the great "candid" shots you have to usually stop and pose for pre wedding she just has an eye for detail and catches them naturally. Her eye for detail is really incredible and shows throughout the amazing wedding book she puts together for you. The quality of the book is beautiful and it is also great that you get all of your negatives. Megan goes above and beyond any expectations you could possibly have for your wedding day. I would highly recommend her to anyone that wants great wedding pictures and a smooth day she is simply the best.

I clicked with Megan from our very first phone call; she was so personable and sweet. Our first meeting at her studio started with “hello” and a hug and by the end of the day we were like old friends poring over her portfolio of wedding albums, laughing, and sharing recipes. This speaks volumes to the kind of person Megan is. She truly cares about each of her clients and is devoted from beginning to end. Megan and I stayed in touch; she was always there to answer a Q, provide insight, and/or put my mind at ease. As the big day approached she had me fill out a detailed questionnaire, provided tips (she thinks of absolutely everything), and developed a wedding day timeline. This was invaluable! Her timeline served as the guide for everything else that day and it all went without a hitch. The day of our wedding, Megan and her 2nd shooter (Tara – also super sweet and awesome) seemed to be everywhere at once – not one angle was uncaptured and I was able to relive so many special moments that I missed in the hustle and bustle. She took control when necessary, ensured everything ran smoothly and on time, and coordinated with my other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page/schedule. We were in such good hands! One of the most special moments we shared was when Megan first arrived at my hotel room to start shooting me getting ready. She walked in the door, gave me a big hug, and we both choked up. She had just photographed my husband and his father getting ready together and was so moved by the occasion she had tears in her eyes. She told me how beautiful everything was and how happy she was to share it with us. This really struck me. How many people do you witness get that invested in their work? Megan is an absolute gem, and one of the most passionate and talented people I have ever met. I am honored that I had the opportunity to work with her and would recommend her in a heartbeat.
