Day of, Megan's cool and calm personality made us feel comfortable and have fun while taking photos. Her flexibility and professionalism allowed us to feel confident our day was captured in the best way possible. She got us a preview album in just a day or so, we had so much fun looking through it again and again, in awe of her work! Even before the wedding day, we had so much fun at our engagement shoot. My husband and I are not huge photo people, so we were nervous going into it! But once we met Megan, we felt immediately at ease and had so much fun. I can’t say enough about how incredible Megan Bennett Photography was for our wedding! We had a small, intimate wedding with just 10 people, and Megan made the experience feel so special. From start to finish, she was not only a talented photographer but also a wonderful presence to have around. She seamlessly fit in with our families and really felt like a part of the party. One of the most impressive things about Megan was her willingness to go above and beyond to get the perfect shots. Our wedding took place on the Miles River on one of the beautiful boats at the Inn at Perry Cabin, and Megan was more than happy to be part of the adventure. She even agreed to hop onto a smaller boat to motor around our larger boat to capture the best angles—she didn’t hesitate at all, even though she was many months pregnant! She hopped between boats multiple times to ensure she got every stunning shot. Her dedication to getting the perfect photos truly exceeded our expectations.
Megan was also so sweet and accommodating when it came to our puppy. She was more than happy to photograph our sweet Augie, and those shots turned out to be some of our absolute favorites! It was so wonderful to have her capture such an important part of our family.
One of the most meaningful moments for me was when my grandmother was able to attend our wedding. It meant so much to have her there, and sadly, she passed away a few weeks after. I reached out to Megan to see if she could share any photos of my grandmother for her funeral, even though the wedding album wasn’t due for a few months. Megan responded so quickly and provided us with several beautiful photos of my grandmother, which we were able to use for her obituary and funeral. This gesture meant the world to me and my family during such a difficult time, and I’ll forever be grateful for her kindness and quick response.The professional photos of my Grandmother and me mean the world to me and I know they will be something I cherish for the rest of my life.
Megan has an amazing eye for detail, and every shot tells a story—whether it was the tender moments between my partner and me, the joy of our puppy, or the fun and laughter shared with our loved ones. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Megan and her associate photographer, Amanda. Megan was our photographer for our engagement photos and they were just magical. We happened to be at the same beach at the same time and we did our photos in OBX and it was the best time! She was actually booked on our wedding date this past weekend and so we chose to have her associate photographer, Amanda, shoot our wedding and it was just the best time.
