Megan was first of all a JOY to work with. From day one, she established a relationship with us and we knew we were in good hands! Her work captured our special moments so beautifully. The day-of, she was on top of every single thing - from the timeline to family members’ requests to just overall helping. Hands down, the best photographer you will ever hire
Words cannot describe how incredible it was working with Megan during our 9/30 wedding. First off, we chose not to do an engagement shoot for personal reasons and I was worried that since we skipped that, we would not have that personal relationship with Megan on our wedding day...I was SOOO wrong. Prior to the wedding, Megan called us to ensure she understood all our wants and needs, each family dynamic, as well as names and relationships. She took the time to get to know our vision, colors, and details to ensure that all her photos of our flay lay aligned with the theme of the day. She talked through the day and what to expect.
On the day of, she was so lovely, warm and best of all, she makes you feel absolutely incredible. She is the ultimate hype woman, she is fun and she makes you feel at ease. If you are not comfortable in front of a camera, Megan will make you feel so comfy. She advices you on all poses, where to look, how to look. Everyone who stepped into her frame fell in love with her. She truly is amazing. Also, I would be remised if I didn't mention her second shooter, Amanda, and Megan's assistant. They both were just as wonderful as Megan. So talented, professional, wonderful and fun.
We received a sneak peek to our photos three days after our wedding and we were left speechless. Her photos are so beautiful and capture the moment so perfectly. If you want the most amazing experience with your photographer along with the most stunning photos that will make your wedding day or special event live forever, hire Megan Bennett immediately. -

Megan was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and if you are thinking about booking her, DO IT!!!
Photography was one of the most important aspects of our wedding and after looking around a bit we found Megan and absolutely loved her aesthetic. We didn’t quit know what to expect as we have never hired a photographer before but from our first phone call Megan put us at ease. Megan was so accommodating when it came to our engagement picture location and we were absolutely over the moon with our engagement photos. We knew right then we were in the best hands.
On the wedding day Megan was such a source of light and comfort, she really walked us through what to expect where to go and was at our sides the whole day. I don’t think I would have been as calm and confident if it wasn’t for Megan helping me understand what to expect next and being the ultimate hype woman. Her second shooter was amazing as well and they made a great professional yet fun team.
We are so happy to have chosen Megan to capture our wedding day and we know you will be too, we will never be able thank Megan enough for the beautiful work that will live on in our family for generations to come. -

Megan is the absolute best and if you are looking for a photographer to capture your wedding in the best way — she is your girl. Megan was an absolute dream to work with from the start. She was always accessible to answer questions, extended her availability to accommodate our schedule, and made my wedding day so so so easy.
As a couple that chose not to do a videographer, we wanted to make sure that we had the best photos to capture our day. Megan did just that and MORE. Her and her team captured beautiful moments throughout the day and made sure nothing went un-captured.
The photos from our wedding turned out beautiful and I hope that you choose to work with Megan too! -

Megan is amazing! She shot my sisters backyard wedding and the pictures looked like they came from a magazine. When my fiance and I got engaged I contacted her before we even had a venue or a date because I knew she had to be our photographer. We had our engagement session - which Megan includes with every package - and that helped us so much! We got comfortable with her and with getting our picture taken, we are not models but the pictures were gorgeous! We were getting geared up for the wedding, then bam - Covid. Megan was great with letting us know what dates she had available - I wasn't going to pick a day that she couldn't be there. She even offered to shoot our small ceremony on our original date! A few days before the wedding she helped finalize the photography timeline so we could get all the pictures we wanted which was great! Day of everything was smooth sailing until the ceremony started a little late. But it was ok because we had already done so many pictures! DO A FIRST LOOK PEOPLE! I could go on and on, but bottom line is Megan is so friendly and so sweet - she will make you feel so good about the photos even when you feel super awkward! If you get the chance to book Megan for any event, do it!!
From the day we met Megan, she has provided much needed guidance and support as we prepared for one of the biggest days of our life- our wedding day! Megan is friendly, knowledgeable, and has the most amazing eye for pictures.
Megan took the time to get to know us and answered all of our questions before we even signed the contract. Megan worked with our budget and helped create a plan that maximized our time, and gave us every shot that we wanted. She even went out of her way to meet us at the venue for a walk through before our big day.
Megan kept in close contact in the days before the wedding, which gave this nervous bride such peace of mind! She went out of her way to arrive to our venue early. Megan went above and beyond organizing our family, friends and guests to get the best shots. Not a moment was wasted!
Somehow Megan delivered pictures before the night was even over!! (Don’t ask me how- this woman must have superpowers). In addition to coming early, Megan even stayed late to get a few last shots.
She wasted no time in preparing an amazing group of highlight shots, then 2 weeks after the wedding, Megan delivered our full gallery. The pictures are breathtaking.
We are so happy with how everything turned out. Megan was a great source of support on our wedding day, and captured our love in a way no one has before.
We highly recommend Megan to everyone- you won’t be disappointed! -

Let me just start by saying if you are looking for a photographer stop the search and hire Megan. She is amazing! I was searching for the longest time trying to find a photographer that has light, airy and sunlight filled photos. I happened across Megan's website and the rest is history. Her pictures are beautiful! She knows the perfect places to place you to capture the sunlight. My husband and I had never had our pictures professionally taken before so we were nervous we were going to look awkward but as soon as we met Megan at our engagement shoot she put all of our fears to ease. She literally made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and that was our first time meeting her! We were completely unsure on where to even have our engagement pictures done and Megan recommended the most beautiful location. Not only that she threw the idea out there to bring along a bouquet for our photos and it was the best idea ever! Our engagement pictures were absolutely beautiful. Leading up to the wedding, I asked her like 50 million questions and she had no problem answering every single one of them. She drove all the way down to Southern Maryland to do a walk-through of both our ceremony site and our reception location with no hesitation. On the day of the wedding, Megan was so relaxed it was amazing. She was able to wrangle the entire bridal party for pictures with ease and was so nice/fun about it. Everyone loved her. I did not have to worry about a thing, I completely trusted her with every aspect of my pictures. Also, I can't not mention that she got our engagement photos back to us within TWO days of taking them and has already sent us our wedding highights!! You won'y have to worry about waiting months to see you finished photos. We couldn't have picked a better photographer for our wedding. Megan is the BEST!! -

There is SO much I can say about Megan! She is everything I wanted for my special day. She's so easy going and makes you feel at ease and most importantly, comfortable. She helped me with more things than just taking photos. She helped with emotions and wedding etiquette and everything I knew nothing about lol. Megan, you are amazing + so talented. First, let me start by saying my husband Greg and I are not picture people. We see a camera and we run! With that being said Megan made us so comfortable and our wedding pictures came out amazing! Megan took the time to get to know us, and help us learn poses. I liked her the first time we met up at Starbucks. She really told our story in pictures (only it looks way better in her pics). The pictures we received had such a dreamy, romantic feel! The gallery was so well organized and I loved the pictures she chose to put in black and white. So much to compliment. I got to relive my wedding day but in greater detail so I could see everything I missed. We would and have recommended Megan to other brides! She is simply fantastic. We feel grateful and blessed to have had her on our wedding day.

I stumbled upon Megan's website completely by chance and was drawn in by the light, airy style of her photography. Our venue (the Howard County Conservancy) is both rustic and whimsical with its historic barn and huge gardens, and I knew her aesthetic would bring out all the qualities that first attracted me to the location.
I contacted Megan via the form on her website, and she responded very quickly with her pricing guide and asked some questions about my vision for the day. We met up at a coffee shop to go over my plans in more detail, and I feel that we "clicked" right away. Megan is kind, funny, and very personable, and she is very familiar with shooting at the Conservancy. She was also very receptive to my idea to shoot our engagement session at a Christmas tree farm (which we did end up doing!). She remained very responsive to both emails and texts throughout the planning period.
Photography was the one expense I did not want to limit myself on, since pictures are all you will have of the day besides your memories! I found Megan to be very reasonably priced, especially considering she includes an engagement session. Her contracting process was simple, and she answered all the questions I had prior to signing without pressuring me at all.
My fiancé (now husband) met Megan for the first time at our engagement shoot, and she taught us the standard "poses" we could use during this shoot and eventually for our wedding photos. It might sound silly, but it was good practice and made the wedding photos go much more smoothly! Also, she was eight months pregnant during our wedding and still kept things moving, smiling the whole time. She was a comforting, positive presence throughout the day, which I appreciated very much.
As for the quality of the final photos, I could not be happier. I have so many favorites it's difficult to choose any to print, which is an excellent problem to have. Megan really captured the essence of our day; there is so much obvious joy and laughter in our pictures. I would highly, highly recommend her to any couple or family searching for a photographer.
