Our wedding DJ was absolutely amazing! I was initially on the fence about even hiring a DJ, but I am so glad we did.He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and worked with us every step of the way!

He was so much more than a DJ he also acted as a coordinator throughout the entire day. He constantly checked in to see what I needed, what the groom needed, and seamlessly adjusted whenever our schedule changed. He truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.

All of our friends and guests could not stop raving about him, and I genuinely believe he played a huge part in making our wedding day so special. We live in Kansas City and traveled to Colorado for our micro wedding, but if we lived there, I would hire him for every event we ever had. You will not be disappointed!

And the MUSIC! He somehow managed to play the perfect songs all night long. He read the crowd so well, kept the energy going and got everyone involved (even people we never expected to see out on the dance floor)! Our dance floor was full, our guests were having the absolute best time.

That made such a huge difference for us and allowed me to actually relax and enjoy my own wedding. Mike and Tammie were truly amazing at our wedding 4 days ago!! I cannot recommend them enough because they were very affordable, supportive of us and what we wanted through the entire process, and extremely kind and accommodating.

They went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Mike brought the energy, kept our guests engaged and on track, and was very charismatic. The sound system Mike brought and used for both the ceremony and reception sounded amazing and the lights were perfect for the dance floor.

They did things extra for us that they did not have to and gave us many welcome surprises!! You can trust that everything will go smoothly and exactly how you want it to go with Mike as your MC/DJ. Mike has you fill out a super helpful form to make sure your night goes how you want, and you can be as specific or unspecific as you want. Mike was great about accommodating specifics that we wanted, and also handled things perfectly for the things we did not care as much about!

There truly aren’t enough stars to rate DJ Mike and his wife, Tammy. Having them as part of our wedding was like having guardian angels by our side. They were our saving grace from the moment they arrived until the very end of the night.

Not only did they provide incredible music and keep the energy exactly where it needed to be, but they went so far beyond the role of a DJ. They stepped in to help with things that weren’t even their responsibility, filled in the gaps when others couldn’t, solved problems before we even realized they existed, and made sure our entire day ran smoothly. We found Mike through Facebook while planning our Colorado wedding from Illinois, and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ.

From the start, Mike was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to work with. His communication was excellent throughout the planning process, and he went above and beyond by offering to help with anything we needed - even offering to check out the venue or take pictures for us since we weren’t local. His online planning forms were simple to use and made organizing our music and timeline so easy.
One thing I especially appreciated as a bride was that he actually respected our do-not-play list. He listened to what we wanted, and our reception truly reflected us.
The morning of our wedding, we ran into an unexpected issue when our venue didnt have power. Instead of panicking, Mike quickly found a solution and made sure our ceremony went off without a hitch. You would have never known there had been a problem. He also provided us with an audio recording of our ceremony afterward, which is something we’ll cherish forever.
At our reception, Mike and his wife Tammy worked together seamlessly. They make such a wonderful team, and Tammy was just as kind and helpful as Mike. As a wedding venue manager I can't recommend or thank the MegaMind crew enough for their professionalism and ongoing commitment to doing whatever it takes to ensure their couples have the best day possible. From day one they were wonderful at communicating and just ON IT. But when plans needed to change due to emergency situations, they were the FIRST to jump in and help a couple who just needed someone who genuinely cared for them. They went above and beyond and I and the couple will be forever grateful.

The day before our wedding, a wildfire started at our venue, and we suddenly had to scramble to create a Plan B. DJ Megamind was at another wedding at the time, but he still made it very clear that he would be there for us no matter what. That kind of reassurance meant everything during such a stressful moment. I honestly kept waiting for a "this is too messy, we're just going to bail" type text (considering it was 11 pm before the wedding and we had no idea where the new venue would be)..but it never came close to that, and it was always "we are here for you, let us know."

Mike and his wife, Tammie, who was photographing our event, were incredibly patient, kind, and supportive throughout the entire process. They woke up before the crack of dawn to drive to our event and helped make the day so memorable. Our guests kept commenting on how engaging, fun, and entertaining Mike was, and no one could have guessed that the wedding had been planned at the very last minute.

Leading up to the event, Mike was thorough, responsive, and attentive. He really listened to our concerns, our vision, and what we hoped the entertainment would feel like. He never left any loose ends and made us feel completely taken care of.

You can be the most talented person in the industry, but if you do not have people skills or know how to read the room, it shows. Mike has it all. He is incredibly kind, funny, professional, and truly knows how to keep an event running smoothly.

Mike has been working with our school for years and we always have a great time with him. He makes each event special, really engages our guests, and does awesome moments like a special honor dance for teachers that really means a lot to us. He's great to work with and we book him for every dance. I highly recommend him as a DJ. We booked the photobooth this year and it was wonderful. With past photographers, we had to set up the backdrop and things for them and it was very pricey to get the photos sent to guests. Not with Mike's company. The photographer came with everything, got it set up fast, and it was perfectly in our budget. They're a great service and you'll love them on your wedding day.
