Mega because she was the sweetest person ever. She was very personable and her price was reasonable. Having Mega as our wedding coordinator was the best decision I made for the entire process.
Mega was there to fill in the blanks when I forgot stuff. She sent "to-do" lists to make sure everything was accounted for. She was very responsive, answering emails within a few hours. She created a very detailed spreadsheet with the names all the vendors, the wedding party, the timeline, and things to do. She coordinated the rehearsal. She kept us on schedule and dealt with all the vendors on the wedding day. She even sent a reminder email AFTER the wedding of things I needed to return.
We had a complicated wedding with the ceremony site separate from the reception site so it was a 16-hour affair. She set up all the finger foods and beverage containers for the ceremony. She knew exactly what I wanted for the reception decoration and made everything perfect. She didn't flinch when things didn't go as planned. She just fixed it as best as she could.
On a side note: my husband was supposed to give a Thank You speech at the reception, but somehow it was missed. It was scheduled towards the end, and I know we were rushed since we were running behind with the table toast. Also, we were trying to make the cut-off time for the photographers and videographers. We didn't even realize the speech was missed until the next morning. If I were to do it again, I would have kept a personal copy of the timeline at the sweetheart table so we can remember it ourselves too. It was not a big deal :)
All in all, Mega did a great job! We were so happy to have her. I was able to enjoy my wedding stress-free with the help of Mega's skills and talent. I knew I was in good hands. She was truly a lifesaver. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a wedding coordinator.
