McKenzie was great from our initial phone call all the way through our beautiful photo book! She was very accommodating, personable and did an incredible job capturing the essence of the day in a beautiful way. We love all of our pictures, film and digital. We can't recommend McKenzie enough- she was both professional and easy going which allowed her to blend in with our wedding party and capture all the beautiful, often candid, moments.

I cannot recommend McKenzie enough! I was nervous about our wedding photography - we don't like being the center of attention and didn't want our pictures to come across as corny. Her easygoing attitude and photography style was the perfect fit for us. She is an extremely professional and talented artist and worth every penny.

Once I came across McKenzie's portfolio I was ecstatic, as I love her artistic approach and her ability to capture the most beautiful moments of a wedding in a way that feels genuine, unique, tasteful, and moving.

If Wedding Wire had 1000000 stars to use as a rating I would select them all for every category. McKenzie is communicative, professional, extremely kind, and made everyone (including myself who is typically incredibly awkward when a camera comes out) SO comfortable, had fun little games to lighten the mood and capture playful/AMAZING shots, and was just a pure joy to have at our wedding as a guest. I couldn't recommend a photographer enough.

We just received our wedding photos back and everyone I have sent them to is equally amazed and impressed as my husband and I. I looked at myself in some of them, and was like WOW, that is that me?! Her ability to capture the perfect setting, lighting, and angles is just unreal. She's the best!!!! HIGHLY recommend.

There are no words to adequately describe how wonderful and talented this photographer is, but I will try. I was initially drawn to the warmth and genuineness of McKenzie’s photos. As soon as I reached out, she set up a time for us to discuss working together and immediately I felt like I was chatting with an old friend. Her kindness, down to earth attitude, and fun spirit immediately put my photo-aversive husband at ease. We had a blast taking engagement photos. It just felt like a fun day playing in the snow, but she captured the most beautiful intimate moments between us, as well as our goofiness. She assisted me with my entire wedding day timeline, always offering fantastic advice, and helping me to stay calm the week before. On our wedding day McKenzie made miracles: she somehow managed to be everywhere at once, capturing every special moment between us, our family, and our friends. All of our guests who reached out afterwards mentioned how kind, attentive, and overall wonderful McKenzie was. When our photos arrived (incredibly fast too!) we were completely blown away. Somehow the pictures are even better than our memories and this was the best day of our lives! She managed to create images that were elegant without any pretension, brimming with joy and laughter, and most important of all a true representation of us. There is no way we can ever thank her enough for not only being such an integral, fun, supportive part of our day, but also for giving us the most beautiful way reminisce about our favorite day. McKenzie is SUCH a wonderful person! So kind, helpful, and friendly! She did our engagement photos and wedding photos! She even did a small set of pics for our original wedding day (we postponed the large reception for a year due to covid). Each and every time we were so happy with working with her!! I am so happy that we went with McKenzie. Her photos of our small, 20-person ceremony really showed how special the day was to us. After COVID came, my husband and I knew we would need to change our original plans to have a 130-person wedding at a small venue in Baltimore. McKenzie was with us every step of the way and so supportive! We still hope to have a larger, 1-year anniversary celebration/wedding this year, and I can't wait to have McKenzie there again to capture the moment.

We booked McKenzie after seeing the galleries on her website. We loved her candid style and knew she was the right person to document our wedding day. Sure, we wanted portraits but we were most interested in having a professional capture the spirit of the day and the little moments that were bound to get lost. She did not disappoint. Her photography is sincere and beautiful. On top of that, she was a complete joy to work with. As the wedding day approached, my husband and I both commented that we were truly excited to see her on our wedding day. She is warm, down-to-earth, and easy to communicate with. She was quick to respond to our questions, assist us with decisions, and navigate the process. Our photos arrived in a beautiful box that was clearly packaged with care and love. McKenzie gave us great suggestions on where to take photos and how to organize the day. She is great with gently directing family members and getting a wide range of shots of guests. She is great with always being present for the important moments, but being stealthy about it, haha. My husband said he totally forgot she was there taking pictures during our ceremony.
