There are not enough stars to give Matt Whytsell Photography! Matt is absolutely fantastic. Matt and his second shooter James shot our wedding, and the photos are stunningly beautiful. We could not be happier! An important aspect of Matt, and James as well, is that he’s funny and he’s fantastic at putting you at ease. My husband and I are both incredibly awkward in photos and not at all photogenic, so it was really important to us to have a photographer who we could be comfortable with and who would help us look natural in photos. Matt is absolutely that guy! Additionally, we chose not to have a wedding planner or day of coordinator, so we were planning everything ourselves. Matt was sooo helpful in helping me plan out the timing of the day and how best to keep the evening moving and the party rolling. He has, of course, been at hundreds of weddings. His advice was all spot-on, and our wedding and reception were perfect! Matt responds to e-mails, texts, etc very quickly and he’s super available. He also got us our wedding photos back 2 weeks after our wedding! Which was perfect because we could sit down and go through them right after we got back from our honeymoon, and they are so perfect. Matt and James absolutely killed the photography of our wedding. Our photos are beautiful, stunning, and magical. You cannot go wrong with Matt!

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! Matt not only provided us with some amazing photos that we will cherish forever, but he was such a down to earth, funny, yet calming presence throughout the entire experience. He had a vision for what he thought would make a beautiful photo while still making sure to capture all the photos we wanted to see taken. And when I say I gasped when I received my first preview photo, I GASPED at how beautiful it was! 10/10 recommend!

Matt is a great photographer to use for your wedding as he did an exceptional job with us at ours!! The final product of images are of the highest quality that we will get to have for our whole life. Him and his partner did a great job in the moment too helping us be ourselves rather than being to stiff which we were afraid would happen. Instead we had an absolute blast getting pictures with them and the ones at the ceremony and reception were perfect as they knew just where to be. Would highly recommend using his services and the price is more than worth it!!!

From the moment I met Matt at at bridal expo, I knew I wanted him to photograph my wedding. My ceremony and reception were both indoors and every other photographer I saw had gorgeous photos in their portfolios, but all of them were taken outside and in natural lighting. I shared my concerns with Matt and he said no problem! I will bring my own lighting and set it up to go off with the cameras, which was amazing news to me because my green eyes turn red in every flash photo taken with a camera flash! Matt was phenomenal to schedule with! His communication was prompt and his pricing is fair and straight forward. We are still obsessed with our engagement shoot photos and our wedding photos look like they are straight out of a fairy tale! Matt was patient and insistent on getting the right shot even when I was hot and uncomfortable. He told me it would be worth it, and my photos prove that. My cousin is having a completely different style wedding than ours, and she was so impressed with Matt she hired him for her wedding photos too! Matt will be our photographer from here on out. Matt and James were wonderful to work with and went above and beyond at every step!! From engagement photos to wedding day they made it all fun and still got amazing photos that we will cherish always. They took in to account pictures that we wanted but knew what they were doing and made everything look amazing. They are a blast to work with and I would highly recommend them to any and everyone!

We are so thrilled that we went with Matt as our photographer. Neither my husband nor I are very comfortable in front of a camera, and Matt did a fantastic job at putting us at ease. He was funny and easy going, and created the most amazing shots! He traveled for our engagement pics and was so patient with us the whole time. He had our sign-in book read in a few days after picking the shots. Same for our wedding album. He answers emails quickly. His whole team was so professional, and he really helped to make our wedding day special. I can't say enough good things about him and his team.
