  Matt Whytsell is an absolutely phenomenal wedding photographer

  There are not enough stars to give Matt Whytsell Photography! Matt is absolutely fantastic. Matt and his second shooter James shot our wedding, and the photos are stunningly beautiful. We could not be happier! An important aspect of Matt, and James as well, is that he’s funny and he’s fantastic at putting you at ease. My husband and I are both incredibly awkward in photos and not at all photogenic, so it was really important to us to have a photographer who we could be comfortable with and who would help us look natural in photos. Matt is absolutely that guy! Additionally, we chose not to have a wedding planner or day of coordinator, so we were planning everything ourselves. Matt was sooo helpful in helping me plan out the timing of the day and how best to keep the evening moving and the party rolling. He has, of course, been at hundreds of weddings. His advice was all spot-on, and our wedding and reception were perfect! Matt responds to e-mails, texts, etc very quickly and he’s super available. He also got us our wedding photos back 2 weeks after our wedding! Which was perfect because we could sit down and go through them right after we got back from our honeymoon, and they are so perfect. Matt and James absolutely killed the photography of our wedding. Our photos are beautiful, stunning, and magical. You cannot go wrong with Matt!

  Don't Think Twice! Book Matt Today!

  We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! Matt not only provided us with some amazing photos that we will cherish forever, but he was such a down to earth, funny, yet calming presence throughout the entire experience. He had a vision for what he thought would make a beautiful photo while still making sure to capture all the photos we wanted to see taken. And when I say I gasped when I received my first preview photo, I GASPED at how beautiful it was! 10/10 recommend!

  Great to work with during shooting and perfect pictures generated to remember the day!!

  Matt is a great photographer to use for your wedding as he did an exceptional job with us at ours!! The final product of images are of the highest quality that we will get to have for our whole life. Him and his partner did a great job in the moment too helping us be ourselves rather than being to stiff which we were afraid would happen. Instead we had an absolute blast getting pictures with them and the ones at the ceremony and reception were perfect as they knew just where to be. Would highly recommend using his services and the price is more than worth it!!!

  Amazing Photos

  We met Matt Whytsell at the Bridal Expo. It was a busy-busy expo but he took the time to explain how his wedding packages work and also contacted us the next day to see if we needed more information. He shared photos from previous weddings held at our chosen venue. We are confident his photos will help us remember this special day forever!

  Flexible, Personable and THE BEST

  From the moment I met Matt at at bridal expo, I knew I wanted him to photograph my wedding. My ceremony and reception were both indoors and every other photographer I saw had gorgeous photos in their portfolios, but all of them were taken outside and in natural lighting. I shared my concerns with Matt and he said no problem! I will bring my own lighting and set it up to go off with the cameras, which was amazing news to me because my green eyes turn red in every flash photo taken with a camera flash! Matt was phenomenal to schedule with! His communication was prompt and his pricing is fair and straight forward. We are still obsessed with our engagement shoot photos and our wedding photos look like they are straight out of a fairy tale! Matt was patient and insistent on getting the right shot even when I was hot and uncomfortable. He told me it would be worth it, and my photos prove that. My cousin is having a completely different style wedding than ours, and she was so impressed with Matt she hired him for her wedding photos too! Matt will be our photographer from here on out. Thank you again, Matt!!!!

  These guys are the best!!

  Matt and James were wonderful to work with and went above and beyond at every step!! From engagement photos to wedding day they made it all fun and still got amazing photos that we will cherish always. They took in to account pictures that we wanted but knew what they were doing and made everything look amazing. They are a blast to work with and I would highly recommend them to any and everyone!

  Fantastic photographer and funny to boot

  We are so thrilled that we went with Matt as our photographer. Neither my husband nor I are very comfortable in front of a camera, and Matt did a fantastic job at putting us at ease. He was funny and easy going, and created the most amazing shots! He traveled for our engagement pics and was so patient with us the whole time. He had our sign-in book read in a few days after picking the shots. Same for our wedding album. He answers emails quickly. His whole team was so professional, and he really helped to make our wedding day special. I can't say enough good things about him and his team.

  Beautiful Moments

  Matt and James were incredibly attentive and knew what they wanted to accomplish. We can not wait to see the moments they captured! They were fun, professional, and kept the ball rolling with a big wedding party and family. I will be working with them again for other big life moments.

  Best Decision We Made!!!

  Matt and James helped make our wedding magical, capturing every special moment and making sure we were taking in and enjoying every second. As the bride and my groom and friends agree, they helped us stay calm and took care of everything for us, could not have asked for a better group to help us. Thank you both so much for your help, the fun atmosphere you created and the amazing work you have done.

  Truly the best decision of our lives.

  Matt did our wedding photos and we just received them. We are completely BLOWN AWAY! They are better than we could have ever imagined them. From the moment we started planning with Matt it was the easiest process. He listened to our wants and needs and he made it happen. He traveled for our engagement photos to st Augustine and they turned out so beautiful. His communication before, during and after helped the engagement session go flawlessly and the wedding day went off without a single hitch. I would use Matt 1000x over again for our wedding and we can’t wait for him to help us capture all the next milestones of our lives. Our photos are beautiful and it’s wonderful being able to look at our photos and relive the day all over again. We are so thankful for Matt and his team!

  Matt recently did our engagement pictures and we love them! We had to reschedule once due to Florida rain, and then got caught in it the second time. Matt was always accommodating and professional, even with the not so ideal (rainy, humid) conditions. The editing of the pictures was beautiful and we are very happy.

  Matt was great throughout the entire process. Our engagement photos came out incredible. Seriously, it took us forever to narrow down which ones we loved the most. His photos are so vibrant! He made the guestbook & it is amazing. The day of our wedding, he was punctual and didn't stop working. The day after our wedding, we had multiple guests ask how many photographers we had because they just appeared everywhere (in a non-creepy or overbearing way). They really knew how to move and navigate a crowd with easy to capture everything. It has only been 3 days since the wedding but I cannot wait to see his photos! We got a sneak peak photo today that I cannot stop staring at it. I am thrilled with our choice!

  Matt and his wife Natalie were such a blessing to us. They have become like family to us. They make it a personal experience by getting to know you and your family. I am so glad we found them to take pictures of my daughter's wedding. Every big event that our family experiences from this day forward will be photographed by Matt.

  book this group! they are amazing! They are on time, prepared, speedy replies, so thankful!!!!!!!! I cannot wait to see our photos. Cannot say thank you enough. They were helping pose each picture. They made sure we were on time and got the most out of our wedding day photos. They traveled to the hotel and our wedding location. They are amazing.

  Matt and Natalie are a superb dynamic duo. Their work was incredible and breathtaking, but what I loved the most about Matt was the presence he brought. He settled any nerves about getting that perfect shot for the frame. They worked well with ALL the other vendors. They helped us enjoy the moments and enjoy the day. I would highly recommend them! They flew all the way from Florida to Tennessee for my wedding :)

  Matt and his team were phenomenal! From the moment we met Matt and his wife, Natalie, we knew they were the team we wanted to photograph our wedding. Since the beginning, Matt was easy to get in contact with and responded quickly and thoroughly to emails.
  
  Matt not only photographed our wedding but also our engagement pictures. Both my husband and I are somewhat shy when it comes to taking pictures; he made us feel extremely comfortable and kept us laughing the entire time. Not to mention we dragged him all around downtown Jacksonville in the blistering heat and he didn’t hesitate or complain once. Our engagement pictures came out absolutely beautiful and were edited rather quickly.
  
  In addition to the fact that Matt as and his team all have wonderful personalities, they are extremely creative. For our wedding we wanted to take specific pictures to honor my husband’s profession, Matt and his team jumped at the chance to make our ideas reality! He had no problem with special requests from my bridesmaids either. I can’t emphasize enough how pleased we are with Matt and his team. Natalie is absolutely amazing! Through out the day she ensured that everyone looked good and was standing in the most flattering positions. James had awesome picture ideas and kept us laughing as well! We couldn’t be more pleased! I honestly couldn’t imagine a better group of people to photograph and spend such a special day with! All three of them went above and beyond for me and my husband, as well as the rest of my family.

  Matt Whytsell is a phenomenal photographer. Living in Atlanta and having the wedding in Memphis, we decided to travel to St. Augustine for our engagement shoot. The weather that weekend kept changing. However, Matt was very accommodating with when we met to ensure we had the best photos. Our engagement pictures turned out perfect. Fast forward to our wedding day- Matt did an amazing job ensuring we got all the photos that we wanted. He did a great job capturing several moments of our guests that we weren't able to see on our actual wedding day, so it was great to see those moments later. We asked for a group photo taken in the middle of the wedding ceremony, and Matt did a fantastic job. I'm sure it was difficult getting 250+ people to not only fit into the frame but to get everyone smiling as well. I know our wedding day was long, but Matt was all smiles & did a wonderful job the entire 12 hours he was with us. I was also very impressed on how quickly he got our wedding day pictures back to us... less than a month is unbelievable! I strongly recommend Matt! Matt Whytsell Photography did an amazing job on our engagement session & on our wedding day. We can't wait to use his services to continue documenting as our family grows in the future.
