We cannot say enough good things about Matt and Nicole. From the engagement photoshoot to the day of the wedding, we couldn't have asked for a more efficient, warm, and knowledgeable team. My husband and I always feel a little iffy on camera, but they captured moments so greatly that I still get emotional looking at them. They are bona fide professionals, knowing exactly what looks good and what doesn't, and they work WITH you as people, not as props. From the initial meeting, we knew that we were in good hands and they thoroughly did not disappoint.

Our review for Matt Stallone Photography is long overdue. Our wedding was almost a year ago, and we are still so grateful that we had Matt and Nicole by our side to capture it all. We first came across them through their beautiful portfolio of photos, and that’s what initially drew us in. From the very first phone call with Nicole, we knew we had found the right photographers for us. I’ll never forget when Nicole said, “we like to capture the moments in between the moments.” That immediately hit us, because it was exactly what we were looking for.

We didn’t want to feel like we had cameras in our faces all day or be stuck doing stiff, inauthentic poses that pulled us away from the realness of the day. We wanted our photos to feel natural, genuine, and true to who we are and that’s exactly what Matt and Nicole delivered. They captured the big moments beautifully, but even more importantly, they captured the subtle in-between moments—the laughter, the tears, the looks, the joy—that tell the real story of the day.

Working with them was an absolute dream. They were kind, professional, and so easy to be around. Honestly, there were times we barely even knew they were there, yet they somehow managed to capture everything so perfectly. I can’t thank Matt and Nicole enough for the amazing work they did on my wedding day. They were so easy to work with and the pictures came out sooo beautiful! We love love love them!They were both very professional, organized, flexible and attentive to any requests my husband and I had. They both really went above and beyond. On my wedding day Nicole helped me in aspects that weren’t even photography related which I will always deeply appreciate. One of the many things I love about their photography is how they capture natural moments in real time and also the humor in some of their non traditional photos, it definitely adds an edge that my husband and I fell in love with immediately when we first came across their work. After having my engagement shoot with them using both Matt and Nicole to capture our special day was a no brainer. I would 100% highly recommend!

Matt and Nicole photographed our NYE wedding in the Catskills and they did a wonderful job! The pictures turned out beautifully. We were impressed with how quickly they were able to get our group photos done even though we had a big wedding party. This was especially appreciated since we opted for outdoor photos and it was cold! They were also very communicative throughout the process, including leading up to the wedding and during the wedding day. Despite our large wedding (185+), they captured almost everyone in attendance in at least one picture. We know we’ll really appreciate that in the years to come as we continue to look back at the photos in our album.

Working with Matt and Nicole at Matt Stallone Photography was a no-brainer. From the moment we saw their portfolio and the beautiful images they produced for good friends, we knew we wanted them on our team. They were so responsive, professional, and organized. They scheduled a call early into our planning to assess what we wanted to capture with our photos. My husband and I shared how important capturing authentic photos was to us especially since I am camera-shy and don’t know how to pose for a camera. Matt and Nicole calmed our nerves and made us feel comfortable on our very first call. This ability to ease nerves carried onto both our engagement shoot and wedding day photos. Struggling to feel comfortable in my skin, I was on edge during our engagement shoot. However, you would never be able to tell from the beautiful images Matt delivered. It was clear that he could sense my hesitation and anxiety and did his absolute best to make us comfortable and relaxed. We couldn’t believe how stunning the engagement photos turned out. The lighting, vivid colors, and authenticity were just palpable.
Matt and Nicole are such a great team and so in tune with each other and their clients. They truly understand that each couple is unique and can capture that well.
Fast forward to our wedding day, Matt and Nicole scoped out our first look location, even though it was an additional 45 minutes from our getting ready location. Matt and Nicole are easygoing, willing to try anything, and listen to the client. Even though the first-look location was out of the way and had the potential of delaying the wedding, they were on board. They were well prepared after having done several walk-throughs to find us the best shots at the location.
They were prompt and ready to rock and roll when they arrived at the hotel. However, on our wedding day, my dad ended up in the hospital. I was extremely heartbroken and a mess, but they were supportive and empathetic while ensuring we captured beautiful images that could be shared with my dad proudly. There were several changes to our original game plan and they rolled with the punches. They were so good about keeping my husband and I on track and reminding us of our shot list request. They were determined to capture all of the photos we had requested. It was such a pleasure working with them and we can't wait to work with them again soon when we do our family portraits with Dad. We plan to work with Matt and Nicole for years to come!!!

We had the BEST experience with Matt and his team for both of our wedding celebrations (2020 minimony and 2021 vow-renewal/reception). They are SO FUN to work with, and their photos captured our big days in such a magical way that looking through them takes us right back into those special moments.

Matt and Nicole are true professionals - very communicative leading up to wedding day, prompt in their responses and always paying close attention to detail. They worked with us to design an overall package that worked with our vision and budget, and they had great ideas when it came to scheduling photos around our main events. They were very patient and flexible as we changed our plans, and their ability to go-with-the-flow on each day-of avoided a lot of potential stress and ensured we had more than enough spectacular photos, even when things didn't go according to plan.

Matt has a great eye for capturing joy, and we appreciated his ability to set up spectacular portraits while blending into the background for the more candid shots. He is open to new ideas and isn't fazed by goofy poses, chaotic families, energetic puppies, or accidental projectiles. We loved working with him and cannot recommend him highly enough!

Working with Matt and Nicole was one of the easiest decisions my (now) husband and I had made throughout our entire wedding planning experience. In fact, they were the first vendor that we hired once we saw a “sample” album at our venue - it was amazing!

We started working with them shortly after our engagement in 2019 and they immediately made us feel comfortable despite my husband and I being totally awkward in front of the camera. But with Matt, it just felt natural and his vision is like no other! He makes suggestions, he takes suggestions but he also keeps it fun. So much so, that we have now worked with him on 3 separate occasions - our engagement shoot, the ceremony day and the reception day!

That being said, they have been so flexible and accommodating throughout the many changes we had to make to our wedding day due to the pandemic. And as if that’s not enough, they made sure to check in with me to see how I was doing as I worked throughout the entire duration in my position as a night RN. So if that’s not a testament to their character, I don’t know what is.

I truly couldn’t imagine working with anyone else, and would highly recommend! As a matter of fact, my family hired them again for my brothers recent wedding which took place in a completely different season, and it was equally as beautiful. Two different seasonal vibes, but undoubtedly the same amount of love and happiness captured.

Our beautiful album will be cherished for years to come! And we are forever grateful.

Hiring Matt and Nicole was absolutely the best decision we made for our wedding! From the moment we had our first phone call, they made us feel like friends and throughout the entire planning process would check in to see if we had any questions or needed advice. On the day of our wedding, they were so organized and ensured that we stuck to our timeline, all while taking the most incredible photos that tell the story of our day. Matt is truly a magician with the camera. Hire them, you will not be disappointed!!!

When I started planning my wedding, photography was my #1 priority. The way I see it, our photos are the only tangible things we'll still have when the day is over, and I want to love them! So I spent A LOT of time researching the perfect photographer, and once I saw Matt's photos, I couldn't get them out of my head. He is so incredibly talented, and yet extremely laid back and easy to work with.

I was super nervous about our engagement session since it was my first time posing for a photo shoot, but the second we met Matt in Central Park, my fiancé and I both felt relaxed and ended up having a blast! The whole process felt natural and fun, and at times I forgot we were posing for photos.

I had also been worried because I had done a makeup trial that morning and really hated how I looked. I was concerned that it would ruin the photos. But Matt is such a magician that despite my makeup mishap, the photos came out looking absolutely stunning! He is such a wizard at capturing light and striking natural, candid poses.

I also really appreciated his creativity: Right as we were leaving the park, Matt spotted a flower bed. Most people wouldn't have even noticed it, but Matt's brain works so quickly and finds inspiration and opportunity in the smallest things! He asked us if we'd be willing to lay down in the flowers (which of course we were), and I swear those are some of my favorite shots from the session.

Finally, Nicole, Matt's wife and partner, is an absolute doll! She has experience as a wedding planner/coordinator and it really shows - she is so organized and such an amazing communicator. She'll also be taking photos at our wedding, and I could not be more excited to work with both of them. Highly recommend hiring this power couple for your wedding!

Matt and Nicole love love and you see that in the photos. Our photos are spectacular. They are truly beyond anything I could have dreamed.
Matt and Nicole let us get specific with our requests and honored them ALL perfectly. However it's the photos that were Matt's ideas that are the best - like the photos that led us to hire him.
Pre Wedding:
We did not meet Matt or Nicole until the day of. Engagement shoots are not a part of his wedding packages. Prior to the wedding, we spoke on the phone twice & filled out a survey. I decided to let go and trust and I'm so glad I did.
Day of: Matt and Nicole were prepared, calm, easy-going, (yet authoritative with where to stage photos and how to coordinate group looks.) They were great to talk to - especially during the bride and groom photo shoot. We spent a lot of time laughing with them.
Post-wedding: It took about five weeks to get our photos. We went to their studio and had champagne and hors d'oeuvres. It was wonderful. We ended up spending half-again what we paid for the photos on our wedding album (through them) but that is because we loved the photos so much. I am sure if we had told them we didn't want to spend that money, they would have helped us trim down the album size. We are thrilled with the results and would recommend them to everyone we love.
