Andrew and I had DJ Matt entertain our September 2020 wedding, and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Our engagement was very short, but Matt was great to work with. We had an initial meeting where he introduced us to his easy-to-use music-planning website, which was a great help as we sorted through what we wanted to play, but also assisted us by having a Zoom call about a week prior to our wedding to review the specifics and help provide us with ideas when we were stuck. If you don’t see a song in his music library, be sure to let him know what you’re looking for as he’ll likely be able to get it for you! Matt was a true professional with supporting our event. He was willing to travel nearly two hours to our venue for the final walkthrough meeting, and was at our venue plenty early on the day of our ceremony to set up. He did a great job with the music during the ceremony, and kept the crowd going from the beginning of the reception up until the very end of the night. DJ Matt, thank you again for helping make our special day an event we’ll never forget!

Matt was awesome! He did our wedding in September. We had both our ceremony and reception outdoors, and he was able to set everything up and move all of the equipment in a quick and timely manner. We had really been stressing about how everything was going to come together - we were clueless! But he really helped us with our timeline and was very organized which was a huge weight off our shoulders. He has some really cool perks that other DJs don't have, for example, he has an optional big screen to project music videos onto out on the dance floor. His lights are the best of the best, and he has a fog machine which is awesome. Not to mention, his services are super duper affordable compared to most DJs in the area!! He really pumped up the crowd and the dance floor was FULL all night. Side note, he wasn't pushy at all which we really appreciated - you know how crazy your schedule can be when planning for a wedding! He was super laid back but helpful, and genuinely wanted us to be happy on our day, which we were. Very flexible with what we wanted. He even helped out with this surprise my dad had for me (fireworks!) and got everyone in on it. Needless to say, I would highly recommend Matt for weddings. He really impressed us and our guests. We hired Matt for a low key wedding ceremony and brunch reception. Prior to our wedding I had multiple issues hearing back about questions I had and there was an overall lack of communication and professionalism. For our ceremony he played the wrong songs for my bridal party and myself to walk down the aisle to. The microphone for our ceremony didn't work and he made no efforts to fix it. I made a 4+ hour list of music for our reception which was not played until one of my bridesmaids told him he wasn't playing the music I requested. Being a brunch/daytime wedding we were not planning on having dancing and he brought out strobe lights and asked the guests to join the dance floor. I had not specifically told him not to do this and a few of our guests did want to dance so that wasn't a huge deal but overall it was not a good experience. Greatly lacked communication and professionalism. If you are looking for someone to play whatever music they want and throw a party he may be the guy for you but I was unhappy with the service I received.
