We became familiar with Matt's work when he covered my cousin's wedding in 2022. I am not exaggerating when I say that her photos were so outstanding that, 2 years later, we considered choosing my daughter's wedding date around Matt's availability. Matt makes people comfortable and captures them authentically, and he finds the artistry in certain scenery that the ordinary person does not. I wish there were more than 5 stars available to give Matt and Allison. Beyond their spectacular photography, they are truly the best thing I didn't even realize how much we needed on our special day!! From the start, when we hired Matt, we knew we were in great hands. He is incredibly easy to communicate with, responsive, flexible and really got our vision from the very beginning! Even though my husband and I are not really comfortable in front of the camera, we actually had a blast at our engagement shoot and then for the wedding Matt just knocked it out of the park!! In the moment, he is that calming presence that every bride needs and he made sure both us and our bridal party got every shot possible! Then getting the photos back just blew us away and we felt like we were reliving there day all over! And Matt even had preview photos up by the morning after the wedding - ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? And not to mention, we postponed a year due to covid, and Matt remained spectacular to work with throughout . Incredible photographer is an extreme understatement when it comes to Matt Gruber. After a friend recommended him and I browsed his Instagram, I knew I had to reach out to Matt for an engagement shoot. From the start, Matt made us feel so comfortable (this was our first time doing a photoshoot) and by that same night, Matt already had a stunning preview pic posted. Of course, every picture from that shoot was flawless. Flash forward a year, and my now husband and I decided to make some last minute changes to our wedding due to COVID (a micro-wedding instead of the big wedding we had planned). Even though this change affected Matt, he never made us feel an ounce of guilt and he helped us make some adjustments to our package. It was a pleasure having Matt with us at our micro-wedding, and he was unbelievably quick when it came to getting the pictures out (he had previews posted the next morning on his Instagram, and the rest were ready in just over a week! We had heard it typically takes a few months to get the pics out!) Once again, every single picture is stunning.
Matt captured the day so perfectly, and I have been telling all of my engaged friends about him!
