Matt and Sam were an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. They brought such a calm, creative energy to our wedding day and made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. My sister isn’t the biggest fan of photos, but we knew she would want her engagement captured. Matt was so flexible as we worked through the logistics of keeping the surprise (down to dressing the part and hiding in our neighbors boat, bless him), and he was so discrete my sister didn’t even realize he was a photographer until after the proposal was over. He waited with our family while the happy couple went on a boat cruise, and then captured so many beautiful moments of them and our family celebrating when they returned. Matt has such great energy and made everyone feel so comfortable, so all of us (but most importantly the new fiancés) could really live in the moment.

The photos came back quickly and are absolutely stunning. He got the most amazing shots and didn’t miss a thing. I had sent inspiration photos and he was spot on (I’m sure he didn’t need them, but if you are like me and are into that stuff he is on board!).

To say Matt was an amazing photographer is an understatement. I’ve followed his work for a while on IG and was super happy I was able to book him for a proposal shoot in Nashville. He was he super easy to get a hold of and was an awesome help in suggesting ideas for locations and best times to pop the question. Matt endured so many layover delays and cancellations to meet me in Nashville that I sincerely thought the shoot was a bust. He didn’t arrive more than 24 hours later than intended but despite those challenges he remained upbeat and professional while I was nearly losing my mind. I don’t know how he did it but photos look like something out of a dream. They have this amazing sunset glow and he meticulously timed and captured the best candid moments which is perfect because unlike my fiancée I am horrible at posing for pictures.
