I don't even know where to begin with how GREAT Mary is. I found the wedding photographer search to be extremely overwhelming. Who knew there were so many styles of photography, so many different packages, and so many price points?! Once I figured out my preferred style (bright and natural but not highly edited) and my photography package must-haves (engagement photos, 8 hours of wedding day coverage, two photographers, experience photographing at my venue) I reached out to Mary for a consultation. One of the MANY great things about Mary is how she immediately makes you feel at ease. From the moment she said hello during our initial phone conversation, I felt less like I was talking to a wedding vendor and more like I was talking to an old friend who also happens to be an extremely talented photographer. When we met in person for the first time for our engagement session, I felt like I already knew her. My husband hates photos and Mary had him smiling and looking like a GQ model within five minutes of meeting him. He even liked the photos of himself! While her prices were more than I'd planned to spend, SHE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. Seriously, the quality of her work is phenomenal. Every bride will tell you that your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye. You absolutely want an experienced and talented photographer there capturing all those moments that you're sure to forget and the ones that you didn't even know were happening because you were too busy to notice. My 6-year old flower girl looking in utter adoration at her mom, my best friend of 20+ years, during her speech at my reception? *shutter click* My wedding party laughing at some inappropriate joke made by a groomsmen during formal photos? *shutter click* Glasses raised with tearful eyes in response to a touching tribute my father made to my husband's late father during his speech? *shutter click click* Mary is an experienced professional and knows when and where to focus her camera during your wedding day. She is also a complete expert at finding the perfect spot based on the scenery and lighting conditions. When she comes to you with a crazy suggestion about sitting on a log in the woods or asks you to walk towards her in slow motion while hip-bumping with your new husband, just trust her and do it. Thank her later when you're tearing up while looking through your album. I could write a novella about her talents, how Mary and her second shooter Robin were absolute gems to work with, and how the quality of her work is second to none. Just hire her already and know that your wedding will be perfectly captured.

I had about 6 weeks to plan my wedding on a really tight budget, and I was a little overwhelmed with how many wedding photographers are out there (and how much they charge!). I knew about Mary because she's my sister's best friend. I checked out her website, and she has really amazing photographs! Mary was excellent to work with - she communicated well, she was friendly, and she took wonderful photographs of my husband and my wedding. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIRING MARY FOR YOUR WEDDING!

Mary is such a talented, energetic, young photographer! I stumbled upon her when searching for a wedding photographer and knew 30 seconds after meeting her that she was the one for us! My groom was so apprehensive about the engagement shoot and she made it so much fun. We did a Bridal shoot in downtown Columbia and I felt so glamorous and beautiful in front of Mary's magical camera. Our wedding pictures were the icing on the cake and I'm especially glad we did the "first look" pictures. All those pictures are priceless to me!! Mary is the best!!!

I know it seems cliche to give a 5.0, but she really is that great. She has taken both family pictures and 2nd birthday pictures for me. She is so flexible, and was even willing to change our date an our before our scheduled shoot because it was looking a little gloomy outside. Our pictures come out so clear and her editing is very professional. One of the qualities that puts Callan Tinsley ahead of the rest if her knack of being professional and silly at the same time. She makes you feel very comfortable.

I absolutely love Mary Louise! She did engagement, bridal, and wedding photos for us. She has such a fun personality but remains professional at all times. She is affordable and the quality of the photos are amazing. We had so many great shots to choose from with all of our pictures she has taken. There are a few shots I wish we had from our wedding ceremony but we had plenty of others to choose from. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an awesome photographer!! :)

Overall I am extremely please with Mary. She was affordable, yet her quality still remains high. She was responsive to all of my emails and questions and flexible with the small things that come up. She was easy to work with and her pictures turned out great. I would recommend her to other brides. My complaint would be that I wish she had gotten a few photos that were missed, like my dad lifting my veil. But she got plenty of other ones and then some.
