Mark is phenomenal. I actually first met him when he photographed my mom's wedding in 2014, so when I got engaged a few years later, he's one of the first people I called. He was the perfect mix of flexible but also knowledgable and experienced in the planning process. On the wedding day, it was such a breath of fresh air when he arrived. He worked with my (enormous) family and bridal party, keeping us all happy but also natural in front of the camera. During the ceremony and reception, he was unobtrusive but also constantly on the move, capturing every aspect of the day perfectly. I LOVE the images he captured, and I would ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend him to everyone and anyone looking for a photographer (for a wedding or not!). YAY MARK!

I connected with Mark to take photos of my engagement (the actual moment, not just an engagement session, or party but there is no option for this type of event), and I am so glad I did. I was nervous about the logistics of coordinating with a photographer at the same time I was proposing, but Mark's demeanor and capability as a photographer put me right at ease. We worked together to understand the site and steps in the proposal so he and I were both prepared - his creativity was critical in helping create a moment my finance and I will both remember forever - not to mention we have the photographs to share with friends and family. Mark was the photographer for our October 2012 Wedding in Brooklyn. It's hard to even begin to describe how wonderful he is. From the beginning, when you meet him, he's just such a kind and likeable person. The kind of person that you enjoy having around on your wedding day, or any other big photo-worthy occasion. And then there's his talent as a photographer. My husband and I are so lucky to have the most gorgeous pictures by which to remember our special day. He really captured every moment brilliantly. From the pictures of everyone getting ready, to the ceremony, the portraits, dances, etc...all stunning. He made even the most simple photos look beautiful. I honestly cannot say enough great things about Mark! Oh...and he had all of our pictures back to us very quickly!

I'll start by saying that, when my husband and I started planning our wedding, I didn't think we needed a photographer. I wanted it to be casual and intimate, and thought that we'd be crossing some invisible line into uncomfortable formality hiring a stranger to photograph us. Meeting some wedding photographers at bridal shows didn't help my anxiety; they all had a sales pitch, big packages, sample books of blurry fantasy shots on metallic paper. But still, deep down, I knew I'd regret not having someone there focused on documenting the day. So, we looked online to find someone local who didn't bill themselves solely as a "wedding photography studio", and found Mark. As you can see, he's a great photographer in his own right, but as a wedding photographer, he was just what we wanted. He worked with us on our budget, answered emails faster than anyone I know (and I work in technology), was completely knowledgeable and communicated throughout the whole process. Mark and his assistant, Dan, did top notch work on our wedding. They were on time, took a bunch of beautiful shots, totally professional throughout, and made the moms happy, which is frankly the most important part. Mark also really listened to my feedback and went above and beyond with some of the processing work. Working regularly with creative freelancers, I can confidently say that he's got one of the best attitudes in the business and was so great to work with. Thanks, Mark!
