Mark was amazing to work with! He was recommended to us and made the process incredibly easy. I had no experience with weddings or planning them so Mark really helped us feel at ease and guided us through the booking process as well as gave us recommendations for other wedding services and vendors.
When Covid19 hit, like many others we needed to change our wedding plans. We originally planned to have our wedding at a venue and family was traveling in. Mark would be capturing the wedding day, but we also had an engagement photo session that we had not yet planned. Since our families would be unable to travel safely, we decided to reschedule the actual celebration a year later but we still planned to marry in a private home ceremony on the original date. This way, the party would be a nice one year celebration and we could see how the pandemic looks around that time before finalizing.
I was worried about the rescheduling process and concerned if we would still be able to have our private wedding ceremony documented. Mark was incredibly understanding and flexible! We were able to reschedule the actual day very easily and were able to use our engagement session to capture our at-home wedding. Mark even gave us a full photo shoot session in addition to taking photos of the small ceremony.
We are so grateful to Mark for his kindness, flexibility, and talent. The photos were available quicker than we had expected and are absolutely gorgeous. It allowed us to share the day with our families who unfortunately could not be with us and we are so thankful! We definitely recommend Mark for any and all photography sessions and hope to use his services in the future for any other occasions.

Mark Fierst was incredible to work with. This was actually our second time utilizing his photography services, as he did photos for a school event we had a few years ago. Mark is professional, reliable, prepared, and had lots of great ideas for our photos. We did a meeting when we booked with him to make sure our visions aligned and had a follow up call the week of our wedding to make sure everyone was on the same page. I didn’t really have any specifics in mind for photos or poses, but Mark’s creativity captured our day perfectly. He was able to coach us through subtle adjustments to make sure each shot was ideal for lighting, etc. He was efficient and was able to quickly discern from a shot if it needed to be repeated before moving onto the next. It was because of his keen eye and efficiency that we were able to get lots of great shots and in a relatively quick amount of time, so we were able to get back to being with our family to celebrate. We ended up with beautiful photos and memories, and we are so grateful for his services.

Working with Mark was super simple. What I appreciated most is meeting before the big day to hash out details when it comes types of photos, family photos, timing of the day, etc. His creativity definitely shined through when we got our final images back. Working with Mark is a no brainer in my opinion!

Mark is not only a great photographer with years of experience in every circumstance, he is great at keeping your wedding party/family on task, on time and keeping the day rolling. He is flexible, honest, prompt and extremely easy to communicate with.

Mark was a fantastic photographer! He went above and beyond for our wedding, and made a typically stressful experience stress-free. Once the pictures were in, Mark made us moscow mules and showed us the pictures in a slide show! Great guy and great photographer.

Mark's photos are stunning. He did an excellent job capturing our wedding day and our personalities with candid shots. He sent us a handful of wedding photos the very next day, which were so much fun to see, and we got all our photos less than one month after our wedding! I would absolutely recommend Mark to couples who are looking for someone who is helpful, easy to work with, and provides an excellent finished product.

Finally getting around to writing this review and can hardly come up with the right words, it just won't do Mark's work justice. Seriously could not have picked a better photographer for our September wedding!!! Mark was incredibly professional, kind, and SO MUCH FUN to work with! He was timely with all photos and we even got sneak peeks the very next morning. He has this way of knowing where to place himself to get the best shots. We have some incredibly emotional photos that he was able to capture that we will cherish forever! The most important moment of my life was captured and now I can look back and relive that moment everyday for the rest of my life. We would choose Mark a million times over. In fact, he will be doing our family photos as well. If photos are a top priority for you – you literally cannot go wrong with Mark Fierst photography!
