We hired Rodney for our wedding at the Outdoor Art Club. He came very highly recommended by the OAC team, and did not disappoint. We did our due diligence researching options and requested comparison quotes, but Rodney won out in a landslide. He has extensive experience at that venue and was very easy to work with. It took us a while to settle on the ceiling lighting/lantern design and we ended up coming up with a new idea, which Rodney was excited to bring to life. It was also really helpful that he has a stockpile of miscellaneous items available for rent as well, so we were able to consolidate the number of vendors we were coordinating with (and as a typical wedding couple who’s never planned anything like this before, that made a big difference). Thank you Rodney for bringing a magical ambiance to our day! One of our favorite memories is a quiet moment on a garden bench as the night wrapped up, watching the lights twinkle.

Rodney from Marin Event Lighting was fantastic to work with for our wedding at the Outdoor Art Club. He provided various lighting configuration options for the front patio area and indoor reception space. He worked within our budget constraints for lighting and made some helpful recommendations on what would look best (he knows the venue well). The lighting setup was even completed before our arrival. We highly recommend his services, especially for events at the Outdoor Art Club.

Rodney was so great to work with for our wedding. From the get-go, he was warm and professional, and we immediately knew that he was going to do a stunning job.
Our entire wedding took place outdoors and since he had set up for other events at our venue, he had a lot of valuable input on how to bring the beauty of it to life. He went above and beyond, exceeding our every expectation, from setting up some of the lighting the day before to practically finishing all the strike immediately after the reception. He was so nice during our own set up, lending my husband a ladder and chatting it up with my father in law.

I can't say enough good things about Marin Event Lighting and Rodney. He was so professional and helpful throughout my wedding planning process. He was very accomodating of what we wanted but also helped guide us based on what he knew would provide the best light for the ambiance we were looking for at our venue.

As the wedding day approached, he was very reliable and even set up all of the lights the day before the event. Once night fell, the venue was lit SO beautifully and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Rodney's prices are fair, which was an added bonus.

I found this vendor through the venue. They were great! I used them for bistro lighting and ivy mixed in as well as a Gobo design. He didn’t have a design I liked so he had me pick one out online and bought it for us to use at no additional cost outside the gobo rental. He was timely and his prices were fair. I almost wish I had done more with him! I did a lot of DIY to save money but his look was very polished and classic. Worth the money.
